Drug Store Walgreens reviews
17I just got out of urgent care and I almost have bronchitis. They sent my prescriptions to this Walgreens. I called and spoke to Jeanine and asked her if my meds could be ready today and she made sure they were ready in less than a hour. Thank you so much Jeanine!
This very kind lady Vicky had amazing customer service and was even willing to call a company for some information on my behalf. Amazing attitude and amazing service, thanks again vicky!
Great liquor store, horrible pharmacy. Expensive liquor, too. Now that I think about it, it's just bad all around. Prescriptions are always late. Multiple calls are required to get anything filled. Total chaos.
I have been using this Walgreens pharmacy for 4 years - during covid they went downhill fast. I swear I ask every few months for my Rxs to be removed from the auto refill list, they swear they did but I still get the text saying it’s ready for pickup. I’ve even tried cancelling the Rx on the app but a person has to accept the cancel and it seems they don’t check. On the other hand I have had multiple Rxs that I needed quickly that they said they couldn’t fill until their “warehouse” transferred it to them. I think this is a newer process as of 2020 and could be part of the issue (or I was lied to). So basically they have a warehouse in Arizona that the new Rxs go to, for THIS LOCATION ONLY, and it takes days for a response. I’ve had to transfer urgent Rxs to the Walgreens downtown that’s 24/7 (a 40 min drive for me) or the one in Oro Valley (a 15 min drive). As of 2023 most of my Rx have now been transferred to Optim Rx since, when Rxs are ready at Walgreens, I have to wait 30+ minutes to pick them up - whether in the drive thru or going inside. Just like others have said. I have also noticed the turnover is HIGH. Save yourself the headache and go elsewhere if you can.
One speed at this location and it is SLOW. Service is BAD. Employees are for the most part, nice. I call in a scrip. Automated system says ready at 10: 45am. 4pm: I'm 3rd in line, wait 25minutes because 2nd checker (with tech) is stuck with a single customer for at least 30+minutes. 8 people lined up behind me. One checker moving customers slowly. I get to checker: "oh, not ready because we were busy, come back in 45 minutes. A scrip I needed and 30 pills couldn't be put in a bottle in 5 hours. I am done with Walgreens and it's ashame because I've been using this location for 4 years now and I own their stock. I am transferring all my scrips to another pharmacy that's further away. Bad management and business model (if one exists). Other issues to numerous to list.
Just got hung up on after 45 mins on hold. Getting anything from this location— scripts, Covid test, a simple question answered via phone— is like pulling teeth or takes ages if you get through.
Same story as everyone else. No one answers the phones or you get put on perpetual hold. I even moved my business to CVS.
Even trying to get prescriptions canceled at this location was a pain.
They need to figure out their drive through! If someone's prescription isn't ready, they'll them they have to come back in 20 minutes. Don't make everyone behind them wait 20 minutes! My prescription is ready. Drive through should be quick!
Called pharmacy and was on hold for 65 minutes. Called store manager and requested to speak directly with pharmacy as I had been on hold for a very long time. Was put on a terminal hold and forgotten about.
The staff is intentionally ignoring phone calls, even those from providers and pharmacies. Unprofessional and unhelpful. Take your business elsewhere.
As all the other reviews have said, the Pharmacy is having lots of issues. I get multiple calls saying my prescription is ready then I’m waiting with others for 20 minutes plus just in line! I’m sure they are stressed too maybe understaffed but with how big Walgreens is this pharmacy needs some type of support to help them with how bad it’s getting.
Totally disorganized with filling my RX. After finally being waited on, I was told my RX was ready, but was not bagged. I finally caught her attention because I had been waiting an additional 15 plus minutes for the “bag. ” I had received a text 2 hours prior that my RX was ready for pick- up.
What’s up with their pharmacy phone lines? The last three times I’ve called (separate days) they’ve had me on hold for 30-60 min before I hang up. I went through the drive through twice before ever being answered. It puts me on hold, eventually rings, then right back into a hold.
I really liked this Walgreens, until I called about the status of two prescriptions. The woman that answered had a childlike voice and was very rude. She even called me by my first name as she was berating me. I have no idea who she is, but I think the location should look into this unprofessional woman.
I have had my medication at this pharmacy since the day it opened. In the last year it has plummeted to rock bottom. Closing at random hours, wait times are ridiculous not because of lines but because there is no staff, Prescriptions not being filled on time, new controlled substances being released without consult to minors. They run out of medications and say "We don't know, go try another location". The list of issues is endless. Massively disappointed in the decline of service and performance. Discontinuing all of my business with Walgreens.
This pharmacy has declined in service. We have had problems with prescription refills multiple times. And sometimes they are closed when they are supposed to be open, causing delays in getting critical medications. We are going to switch to a different pharmacy.
We have been with this pharmacy for 28 years. Over the last 6 months or so they have really tanked. All new pharmacy staff (sudden change, not over a period of time), not filling prescriptions on time. We have run out of our medication because of them. Not filling prescriptions when called in.
We have left Walgreens and will no longer do business with them.
Worst pharmacy I’ve dealt with. My wife needed her meds today and they were supposed to be filling them all day and it is impossible to get a phone call answered and then I find out they closed early and didn’t notify us to let us know.
