Walmart Auto Care Centers, Mesa AZ

Went to get my defective tire replaced. It's the third Dextero DHT2 tire I had with layer separation and buldging. I had the first two replaced for free at another Walmart. This one still only had 9,000 miles on it and they were trying to charge me too much. They put a completely different tire type on without asking because they said they don't have the same model anymore. The different tire was more expensive and they didn't discount it to the previous tire price. They tried overcharging me on the pro-rating saying that I used more tread than I did. They commonly do paperwork wrong and one of my previous bills had erroneous mileage recorded which was about 10k miles less than the previous mileage. They were saying they can't base the usage on the miles because that one previous bill had an impossible mileage on it. I had to argue about the tire only having 9k miles on it. They acted like it was my fault that they recorded the mileage wrong previously. I proved that it was wrong with additional records. Then I still had to argue about the original tread depth because they were saying it originally had more tread than it actually did. I made them measure the tread depth in a new tire that was like the old tire. I only used 30% of the tread and I had to argue how pro-rating works. He wanted to give me a 30% discount when I should only be paying 30% of the tire price (a 70% discount). I had to talk to 6 different people throughout this process and it took 3 hours of mostly standing there waiting for them to do something even though the actual tire change was done within the first half hour. They recorded ALL the DOT numbers wrong, which I had then "fix" and I later found that they still wrongly recorded the DOT of the new tire. I went back the next week to get the DOT number corrected and it took another couple hours because the manager is slow and did it wrong again and I had to tell him to fix it yet again for the third time. Then they dropped the ball for a while and I had to go out to the garage and ask people what the heck was going on. The manager said they were fixing it back there and nobody was working on it. It was a horrible couple of experiences back to back and I had other places to be. I shouldn't have to pay at all for those defective tires.

Never had any problems here. I've had oil changes, bought tires, they fill my tires anytime i go there, reasonable prices, very friendly. They have always treated me right n serviced my car right.

I bought a set of Goodyear tires online as part of a promotion Walmart was running this week. I also scheduled the installation appointment online. I'd never tried online tire shopping before and wasn't sure if the tires would actually be there for me. I showed up a few minutes early, happy to learn that the the tires were in stock and that a bay was available. From the moment they pulled my car in, until they brought it back out, only 19 minutes elapsed. I honestly thought something went wrong as I'd never had 4 new tires spin balanced and mounted in less than an hour. I realize I got lucky with the time slot and mechanic availability to some extent, but I am still blown away by how fast they were. Everyone was friendly and also wearing masks. The only thing I could have wished for was some chairs or benches outside so that I didn't have to sit on the ground while waiting. (Indoor seating removed due to COVID-19.) Kudos!

Wow this location was SO great, we were so impressed. Everyone was so helpful and so knowledgeable. My car got towed in after having a tire blow on the freeway in Phoenix. I ended up getting 4 new tires, an oil change and then actually returning the next day to bring in my other 2 cars for oil changes. Everything was done so fast, and I would 10/10 recommend this location. Philippe, the manager was so great and went above and beyond to help us. Thank you!

Great deal on a set of 4 tires. They offered the best mileage warranty and pricing! Better than Discount, Big O, and Sam's Club!
Now that's saying something. I was very surprised but pleased!

I love to go here on my days off and watch the employees try to work the registers and do whatever they do, it’s an experience everyone should experience. One weekend they successfully completed an oil change on my vehicle after a quick 6 hours, and since then this has been my go to spot every weekend

I got turn down for an oil change at 6 even though they didn't close till 7. They said they didn't have anybody certified for oil changes at that time. This is the second Walmart I have gotten turned down at for oil changes while before they closed.

Came in for an oil change through the "Lube Express", was second in line to get in the bay, and got the vehicle back 2-1/2 hours later. It may be a little less costly but don't plan on a quick exit.

Best service I have had dealing with cars. I went to ask one of the service guys a question, I think his name was Felipe (if I spelled it wrong I am sorry) about my cars oil and he helped me out with literally everything, finding what type of oil, where to put it in, and even filled my oil for me with it even asking. He went above and beyond and I am thankful. I highly recommend this auto center especially Felipe.

My wife waited THREE hours to get two tires replaced. After waiting two hours in the store with my 2 year old daughter, she came to ask what the status was. Said nothing had happened yet, and they "didn't know" why. Then waited an additional hour for it to get done. Slick move wallyworld.

Horrible place. Very unprofessional. The people working on the cars appear to have had no training on customer service. I watched as they all tried desperately to Advoid helping me. The front desk worker doesn’t know what he is doing. I was forced to take my business to the Walmart on Mceliops and greenfield. At that store when you pull up somebody comes out scams your car and assists you in your needs. Signal butte Walmart auto center is a joke.

While there will always be room for improvement, the dept.manager (average height Hispanic guy, sorry I can't recall his name) always treats me fair and has even gone above and beyond attempting to help me out. It's a busy place and it would be nice to have more professional automotive staff but if you want affordability, the majority of the team will not consist of true automotive professionals.

Great bunch of hard working men and woman that always does good work and in timely manner only get my oil changes here.

They competed the work but there is always an inconsistency with it. The kind of stuff that screams, "I DON'T LIKE MY JOB AND I DON'T CARE ABOUT YOUR VEHICLE".
-Big things like they always tell me they will call me when the work is done and 5 hours later I just stop in and my truck has been sitting there. Then I check the notes and the info to call me isn't even there. But it says the work was completed 2 hours ago.
-Little things like adding the "when to return" sticker to the inside of the windshield without any information on it.
Get it together please.

I was told an hour and a half until the car is finished, it's been 2 hours and the car is still sitting untouched with 3 cars ahead of it. DO NOT BRING YOUR VEHICLE HERE.

Been waiting for someone to come check my paper so i cam get new tires and a employee can clearly see me waiting but instead hes smoking a cigarette. Wow. Great service.

Been here for over an hour and a half. There was 1 truck in the tire bay finishing up a rotation and 1 other car by the tire bay. I was the 1st car in the oil bay. After the hour and a half only the oil change was done. Really. I understand that they were a little short handed but 2 other cars (after mine) came in and out before​ mine was done with the oil. On the plus side they did give me a free rotate and balance for the next ten I come in. But it's the next time.

Bought a battery, took it home, it did not work. Brought it back less than an hour layer but could not find the receipt but the employee remembered me and remembered selling me the battery. He would not take it back.
