West Rim Chevron, Meadview AZ

5 Stars for this gas station and not because of the gas prices, souvenir trinkets or the clean bathrooms, but because of the staff: Rich and The Woman (I forgot to get her name). The friendliness in giving directions, (because attitude is everything) plus the empathy she showed us when we came off the "shortcut" maps sent us on (Route 149, Antares Road; 30 plus miles of dirt road in the middle of nowhere). Pretty sure we weren't the first ones to take that route, never again. This gas station is truly an oasis in the desert!

Easy access heading to Meadview or back to Kingman, great stop before the Grand Canyon too.

Filled up my rental during our bucket list trip to go white water rafting down the Colorado in the Grand Canyon. We had a blast with Hualapai River Runners.

It's Great to see young people who enjoy the job! It shows by How they relate to customers. I couldn't help but notice how comfortable they made everyone, not just me. Also it's Great to see the same person on a return trip. Thanks Chevron/ Owners. How well you treat your staff reflects your sincerity to serve the travelers!

That is the first gas station coming from the Grand Canyon West Rim. We have very little gas left and we're also thirsty. They turned off the light inside the store as soon as we pulled in, but they didn't shut the pump. Why wouldn't they serve the last person that just stopped at their business? Customers that drive at night usually buy lots of stuff for those long rides to las Vegas and Laughlin. I found that very rude!

You can buy souvenirs cheaply before going to West Rim.
It's clean and nice
There are quite a few types of items.

The food mart is clean and well stocked, bathrooms are VERY clean! Young man at the counter was friendly and kind.

The employees are awesome. I live a mile up the road. But Diesel and Gas prices are ridiculously high compared to other stations. I've been told it's because The tourists if you can, I'd highly recommend getting your Gas or Diesel at The Gas&Grub in Meadview they are at least fifty to seventy five cents cheaper and they are only 10 miles up the road in Meadview.

The cleanest bathrooms ever at a gas station! Awesome souvenir choices. Plenty of snacks and even meal options. Super nice people working today.

It is good to have a large gas station in this neck of the "woods" sort of speak. Good employees lead to great service.

Good stop ahead of the venue for a quick bite to eat, coffee, souvenir, or other thing you might need. Facilities were clean and well-stocked. Many gas pumps with easy pull-through clearance and high roofs. The man who was working the day we came (Saturday, April 8th) was there all day (9-5 and probably longer), good attitude, very friendly and helpful, made it worth stopping twice for. That's the kind of service that gets repeat friendly business, even by us tourists. I'd stop by there again if I go by that way.

I like the employees that work there but they are way too in proud of there gas I recommend buying gas at the gas in grub in Meadview if you are going that way also they don't sell beer but they got most of everything else that you need in a pinch.
