Westwind Bar and Grill, Yuma AZ

Ok three strikes and your out. This was our go to place to eat last year during our stay in Yuma. This year has been a disappointment. While the food has still been good the service has been terrible. Last night (friday) we arrived at about 4: 30. Waited about 45 minutes to be seated which was ok. Sat there for 20 minutes without any server even saying hello to us. Finally asked a passing waitress if we had a server assigned to our table. She said she would see and came back to take our order. After another half hour waiting for our food another server brought it out. My fish was cold and my wife received a philly cheesesteak when she had ordered a prime rib sandwich. We ate both meals anyway just to get the hell out of there! There are alot of options at which to dine in the foothills. We will not be choosing Westwind anytime soon

Five winters in Yuma and our 1st visit here and we will be back.it was delicious. Service was outstanding, food delivered fast, and drinks were oh so yummy. I had the fish n chips special, he had the chicken fried steak.we were in and out in an hour and the place was packed! Don't know why it took us so many years before we visited here!

Outstanding service by Lisa. The manager Alfonso came and checked on us. The service in the food came out quick, hot, and on point. I highly recommend.

Yes! Finally! A restaurant I can feel good leaving my money with! Food was excellent and Nellie our server was amazing! My new neighbor favorite!

The fish and chips are excellent. Fantastic friendly service. The staff is excellent. Our server was i believe named Ashley. She was very attentive. We were seated right away. We plan on being regular customers.

My wife and I had dinner here tonight and were blown away at the atmosphere, food and service! We showed up and were surprised to find there was live music, then dinner was fantastic with some of the best service we have ever experienced. We especially want to note Becka and Mary for their attention to our needs and constant service to assure our experience was the best possible. We highly recommend this location for dining and will be returning soon! Job well done!

Just had the best breakfast burrito in Yuma. The service is exceptional and the atmosphere is great.

We love dining here! The staff is so welcoming and the food never disappoints. The Mediterranean Salmon Salad is perfect for our Yuma weather!

The bar manager was disgustingly rude to another customer while I was there. It disrupted the whole evening, meal, karoke event and caused a scene in the whole place. Never ever will go there again.

My husband and I love going to West Winds! The menu is simple but good and my favorite is when the staff comes up with specials, like the ceviche! The food is consistent, unlike some other restaurants close by (no names lol) and the food is always hot! We are locals here now for 3 years and have been going ever since! The staff treats us like family <3 and we have become very fond of a couple of the staff members.

Nellie was our server and she was great. Food was yummy. I can't wait to try breakfast. We'll be back for sure.

I know, I know, I know, it's in a 55+ community. We were skeptical as well but the Food and Service were AWESOME! I had Alfredo with steak and mushrooms while the wife had fajitas. We then shared the brownie for desert and once everybody saw ours they had to order their own. The steak was done perfectly and the sauce on the Alfredo was some of the best I've had. Everybody was friendly and the service was fast. Overall THE BEST PLACE we've eatin in Yuma so far!
