Whataburger, Mesa AZ

Glad to see a comeback and expansion of this restaurant in the East Valley. Always one of my favorite burgers growing up. My favorite is the green chile burger. Pleasantly surprised to see this location off Stapley and Baseline.

Absolute love Whataburger! Especially this new one that recently opened up on Stapley and Baseline. My favorite fast food burger joint out of all of them. I usually get the Number 1 or 7. Ohh and the breakfast menu is excellent too! So many favorites to name but I love the bfast burritos and hash brown sticks!

A sloth moves quicker. Drive through for lunch. Took 3 orders from the other lane before taking the car in front of me. Took over 28 minutes to get to the window. Ended up being late back to work and the fries were cold.

I have to confess, I'm an original Texan, so Whataburger runs deep in my blood. I am not biased. I'm just glad more restaurants are popping up in the Phoenix metro area.

A newer Whataburger some what hidden from view. I tried their new chili burger. Nothing special here. I should have stayed with their jalapeno burger, much better.

This location is new and therefore completely spotless. I believe this may be the cleanest restaurant at this intersection.
Love the food, the staff are all kids and i’m sure for many of them it’s their first job. They’re doing their best.
I’ve noticed the customers that come here are always complaining. I’ve lived at this part of gilbert (border to Mesa) for about 19 years now and the people here are all the same- always complaining about something.

Every visit the French fries have been hot and fresh! Please don't ever stop serving fresh hot French fries it really makes all the difference when ordering fast food.

This is a great store. Food is always good, you can dine in 24/7, and the employees are friendly.

Matt S provided excellent customer service. So polite and helpful! The food itself was great too. The gravy was thick and flavorful, which was so nice because the last time I had it at different locations it was runny. Restaurant was clean and inviting. Overall a great experience!

My wife and I came over to check out the new Whattaburger. I liked the cleanliness of the parking lot and the restaurant. The young lady who took my order and the young man delivered the food to our table, both of them were very nice and courteous. The food tasted okay to me. My wife told me that she enjoyed her meal. So, overall, it was a good visit.

Food was great although my friend and I waited in the drive thru with only 2 people ahead of us for about 30 min or maybe more which is honestly a little ridiculous for it being super late and slow.

I was disappointed today. My Whataburger and fries were lukewarm. The drive-thru service was slow. In and out would have been a better choice.

DELICIOUS and CLEAN. Southern bacon burger is insanely good. The staff is friendly, and they keep the place nice. I even saw one guy cleaning the individual squares of each light fixture grill.probably 1,000+ small holes, one at a time. That's detail!

The food is on point, as usual!

This New Location Is Great. Whataburger remains one of my favorite Burger Places. My only concern with this new building is the faucet in the restroom. You may ask why it's a concern? Well it hardly dispenses any water before automatically shutting off again! My issue is that any employee using the restroom does not get the proper amount of water to properly wash their hands after handling their business. Those self activated faucets are no good when it comes to hygiene. Especially when people are handling food.

HONESTLY, NOT A FAVORABLE EXPERIENCE.

If you're in the mood for a chicken sandwich, DO NOT COME HERE. For the same $12 you spend here on a large chicken sandwich meal, you will get a bigger and juicier chicken sandwich at Jack in the Box, Popeyes, or Caines.

As you can see in the picture we've shared, the Bun was smashed & BURNED.
The breaded chicken was TOUGH AND DRY.

The LETTUCE AND TOMATO slice were pieces I never use or serve. Pretty nasty to find them in my sandwich.
