WhereUBean Coffee reviews
21We try to make a stop here whenever we are in town visiting family. The coffee is delicious with quick service, and the homemade treats are a must! We had the pumpkin cheesecake and carrot cake, which were both amazing!
Delicious coffee, baked treats (made in-house), and the best atmosphere! We had them cater our wedding for iced lattes during cocktail hour and then nighttime coffee service (with hot chocolate for the kids!) along with breakfast trays for the bridal party while we got ready. Our guests RAVED about how good everything was and we were so pleased with the service and quality. The whole team really helped make our wedding such a perfect day!
I’ve been here twice and I cannot state enough how much of a joy it is coming here. The staff is always pleasant and helpful, the drinks are delicious and made with pride, and the baked goods are as tasty as they are unique.
Seriously, even if you go for just the treats, they are made in-house using family recipes and are worth an hour drive alone. The picture posted is of their version of a tres leches, but made with rose water. It’s simply decadent and delectable!
But, if nothing else, always try their seasonal lattes. They are perfectly made and always have a beautiful balance of flavors. Their current pumpkin latte is exactly the right blend of sweet and nutty, with a touch of cardamom that makes you feel like Fall inside and out. Oh, and for the coffee-avoider, they have an excellent selection of teas.
Keep doing what y’all are doing! It’s truly wonderful!
Visiting Phoenix and had a work emergency - I was stressing until I found WhereUBean Coffee. It's got a super fun atmosphere with GREAT music and EXCELLENT cold brew. It made my work emergency kind of actually oddly fun. Highly recommend this place!
WUB offers not just some of the best coffee, but I’m a big fan of their baked goods. I go multiple times a week because the staff always makes me feel at home. The ambiance is pretty much perfect for getting work done or just stopping by to read a book.
A coffee shop with a great vibe. I typically like local roasters but they still have decent coffee. The atmosphere is what makes this place great for me.
I've been coming here for years. I love their coffee and family-owned feel inside. No drive-thru, but it's worth getting out of the car for!
Amazing lil gem! The drinks are delectable and served with so much care. The zucchini bread was beyond delish! Chill and comfy place to enjoy the vibes of this cute and eclectic spot. I now need to figure out ways to get back to this side of town anytime I can!
Best chai tea and pastries/desserts. I like my chai spicy and I have tried 5 different coffee shops and was disappointed. WhereUbean is where you need to buy your chai teas.
This place is the best coffee shop I’ve been to in the Phoenix area.
It always has fun music, and the best tasting coffee I have had an Arizona.
They also have great handmade bakery items. A great environment to sit in and have good conversations with friends or you can order ahead.
An awesome space for a cup, good conversation or to just sit and be in community. WUB has a great energy and fun community space. I have also used them for bulk boxed coffee, when Boys to Men Mentoring does events. They loan me an insulated pump dispenser, which keeps the coffee warm longer. Thanks WUB. My 14-year-old grandson who loves vinyl records, spent a half hour emersed in the record wall.
Experience on Oct. 8 very disappointing in barista skills and final coffee quality as a person serious about espresso based drinks. Took a friend here after finding out about the place with raving reviews. Iced Americano made by a lady was done properly, professionally and with care. Flat white made by a man with long hair was amateur at best. He barely tamped (simply touched tamper lightly for fraction of a second - what for?), barely steamed milk was lukewarm, and as final proof that there was no care, skills or professionalism did not bother with even an attempt at art. In fact he poured weak espresso at same time with steamed milk into the cup. Final product was weak, light in color, and even my friend wasn't impressed by it. Home baristas can make better coffee than this. I considerd asking for it to be remade by the lady barista or asking for my money back. However, the atmosphere was quite nice. But a cafe must offer proper coffee made by proper professionals first.
Great coffee and atmosphere - friendly staff and comfortable spots to relax and have a chat - now a favorite hangout for me!
The staff are super friendly and nice. The coffee and pastries are also great. I am not a fan of matcha but you should definitely try the "magic matcha" here.
Oh my goodness. I'm so glad I found this place. I asked for a recommendation and was not disappointed. Then I asked for the best paired pastry, and again was not disappointed! These two employees know their stuff and are clearly passionate about providing the best experience possible for their customers. I will, for sure, be coming back again and again.
BTW, they recommended the Cubano, in a smaller mug, which made it very smooth and strong. It was paired with the cheesecake pound cake. PERFECT!
My favorite coffee place! The drinks are wonderful, the pastries are delicious, and the service is delightful. It’s so cozy and I love it.
This small and cozy coffee shop is not in a high traffic area. You will probably not come across it while shopping for something else. However it is worth discovering and making the trip specifically to enjoy what it offers. First of all, it is a small shop and provide a quite atmosphere. Second, the barista is good at making almost anything on the menu. Food choices are limited but coffee and tea choices are excellent. I tried cuppocino and latte, both of them came with a top covered in - what might be called- "milk art". It is different every time; I think the barista is an artist.
Certainly my favorite coffee shop in the valley. Top notch coffee, atmosphere, and service. Very few coffee shops can boast all three, but WUB really has it all!
What an amazing little gem of a place with such glean vibes. You feel like you are sitting in a cool coffee place in Seattle or something. Baristas - Kartik and Matt behind the counter were so so nice. The coffee and the desserts were delectable. They even have gluten free desserts. We ordered the almond cake and cheesecake.they even heated up the almond cake for us so it went perfectly with our coffee. Next time you are in the mood for coffee and desserts, do stop by here and you won’t be disappointed. We spent like two hours here on a Saturday afternoon and could have spent two more.
Wow! Just Wow! What a great local coffee spot! This place has personality plus. The vibe is comfortably eclectic and warmly inviting. The baristas are outgoing, friendly, and eager to help. (Ask for recommendations and you won’t be disappointed.) The coffee is amazing. The brown sugar oat milk cappuccino was insanely delicious! The pastries are made in house and really good. I had a banana chocolate muffin and it was perfect. I will be back.
