Wok ‘N Roll Chinese-Sushi-SW Asian, Scottsdale AZ

This was the second time I have eaten at Work n Roll. The first time was equally as good. This time I ordered the yellowtail sashimi, it was buttery and smooth just how it should be. I had the coconut run and Fresh Eel rolls, both were very tasty. The service was spot on and the sushi came out quick! If you are a sushi fan, this is a great place!

I go here often. Everything I have ordered is very good. Plus, the staff is really friendly. I will continue going there

Stopped by to pick up takeout.and now I wanna eat here. Comfortable furniture, modern pan-Asian decor, lots of TV'S, good-looking bar.
Food is tasty and reasonably priced. Their orange chicken is actually a little spicy, has very little batter, and is cooked with real orange slices. Yum!

I don't usually do the dine in sushi experience but I'm glad we went here! It was delicious. I went basic for the orange chicken and friend rice, which was cooked really well with powerful flavors! The waiter, the niece of the owner, was fast and respectful! I appreciated her sharing the story about how they are expanding! Congrats! Will be back!

Great friendly environment with great tasting sushi. Salmon nigiri and the red dragon roll are my favorites.got to try more.

We are visiting from out of town and decided to check this place out. It did not disappoint. We have a toddler with autism and has a hard time talking and being in social situations but our server was so nice and sweet and gave him crayons and a coloring book while we waited.
Orange chicken was great. My husband had 3 sushi rolls and he said they were great quality. We also got a round of veggie tempura for table and it was so good. The veggies didn't soak up the oil and it had great flavor.
We hope to stop by again when we're in the area. 10/10.

If I could give them a 10/10 I would! So I went around 7: 30 tonight and i first walked in and it was awesome the atmosphere was super cool and I Brenda sat me down and my waitress was Symi and she was super good and really helpful of what to get and I also meet the owner Scott what a great guy and restaurant! And also while I was eating they were starting to play LIVE music something you don’t really get these days! Overall great service and awesome restaurant and food definitely will be back,

Super GOOD SUSHI I have had, SUPER FRESH it was IMMACULATE, since the last time I went I California and that was about 2 years ago!

This place was crazy good. Go during happy hour and get cheap sushi that does not disappoint. We had a really bubbly and fun waitress who made sure we were constantly taken care of. If I lived in AZ I would eat here often.

Great service.food was so tasty. Owner personsonable, kind and fun. Dog friendly. Zukko the dog loved his chicken dish. This place is amazing

Okay this sushi is remarkable! I have found my new favorite place for this. I am very picky with sushi and this surpasses my expectations.

Excellent happy hour, friendly staff that aim to please. My favorite roll is Colleens Dream, some of the proceeds go to a great cause as well. Dedicated owner and awesome sushi chef make this place stop notch. $7 Happy hour sake bomb!

Holy Mother of God this place is AMAZING. I regularly commit 6 of the 7 deadly sins and gluttony is by far my favorite and this is the place to do it. Their basic rolls are to die for and their specialty rolls are out of this WORLD. GO HERE NOW!

Had the tuna steak which was excellent. And was very pleasantly surprised with the level of attention put into the chow mein. The new hybrid menu is a winner.

The service wasn't all that hot, and they weren't that slammed at the time. The food was fine but nothing to go back for. For the price you could find more value in a number of other places in Scottsdale.

I have been beyond obsessed with the sushi Jay makes for years! We have been die hard patrons of Sushi J and have now visited Kaiyo a handful of times. Sadly it’s just not even nearly the same quality. The fish is just not of good quality at the new place. Maybe my experience was always so great because we had Jay himself take care of us, but as of this last visit I just can’t see myself giving it another chance and hoping for something it used to be.

I've been coming here since they opened, before they had the liquor licence, and have not had a bad meal once. Very creative specialty rolls as well as all fresh fish. Coming from a coastal hometown having fresh sushi was important to me, and J's provides that.
