Women's Medical Care, PC reviews
18 I am currently 26 weeks pregnant, called the office this morning 6/21/23 at 10: 54am to let them know that I haven’t felt right for the past 3 days. I spoke to Sarah and when I started telling her my symptoms she cut me off and said she would have to leave a message for the nurse. Amber, the nurse, didn’t call me back until 1: 52pm, 3 hours later. I started telling HER my symptoms and got cut off again with her conclusion that it was just my hormones. I then interrupted her and told her that Sarah cut me off before I could give all of my symptoms which Amber tried to as well. Hot and cold flashes with body ache, throbbing headache, lower abdominal/back pain, and leg cramping. She then requested that I come in to provide a urine sample as long as I was there before 4pm. I left immediately and arrived at their office by 2: 40pm and gave my sample. Still waiting for the doctor to call. I feel uncared for and still in pain with nausea added to the symptoms now. I don’t want to go back. I’m scared of malpractice at this point.
UPDATE: I spent the night in the hospital on IV fluids because of my bloodwork results. I could have lost my child if I had listened to this office’s recommendation. This office has 0 patient care DO NOT GO HERE!
I've been a patient of Dr. Fernandez for years. He agreed to manage my PCOS and I saw him for prenatal care when I was pregnant. He is the kindest, most compassionate Doctor I have ever had. The office staff is always friendly and helpful. The nurses and medical assistants are amazing. I am so grateful to have found such an amazing medical facility.
They are very unprofessional. Their patient is a 17 y/o runaway & the police let them know they would need to make contact with the minor because the family was worried and they literally called the minor and told her not to come in! This should tell you something about how they run things. Very unprofessional.
I called Women's Medical Care after my regular office (Prescott Women's Clinic) was incredibly rude and hung up on me providing me no assistance with a time-sensitive matter since I am moving out of the state in a month. The woman that answered the phone at Women's Medical Care was incredibly helpful and even though she could not get me in to see the doctor's there by the time I needed, she provided me with a solution to my problem. I wish when I moved to Prescott, I had originally gone to Women's Medical Care instead of the office (Prescott Women's Clinic) that I chose.
My sister is literally missing and they ruined an investigation by telling my sister not to go to her appointment. Then they lied to our mom and said she couldn’t make it cus of a car issue
Dr. Fernandez is such an incredible doctor. His incredible bedside manner and amazing staff are unmatched.
BEWARE of this practice. I have never received such poor care as I did during my short 6 weeks of seeing them. The nurse “Linda” that works here is rude, cold and completely lacks compassion for her patients. Maybe it’s time to retire Linda? Dr. Fernandez takes zero time to know his patients history therefor developing unnecessary care plans. This is my 3rd baby so I know when I am being treated correctly and with quality care and this is NOT it. I went back to my OB in Phoenix who delivered my first baby and explained everything Fernandez “diagnosed” me with and how he wanted to proceed and the terrible things that were said to me by Linda and he was jaw dropped by their way of “practicing” medicine. Run away, find any other doctor and better yet just go to Phoenix where they’re equipped to SAFELY handle you and your baby.
I couldn't be happier with all the staff here! They will make you feel welcome, address your questions/ concerns quickly, always answer their phones right away and top of the line care! Very grateful to be a patient here.
I always have a good experience here. Even with going through a miscarriage, they were so kind. Strongly recommend
Brittany is absolutely caring, and makes you feel so cared for during all visits. I’m so lucky I found her to see during this pregnancy!
My obgyn makes me feel so comfortable with the pregnancy process. They are very helpful and sweet. I love the people at the front office.
I started at Prescott womens clinic and felt completely ignored by their office. They made my experience horrible. Once I switched to this office I immediately felt relieved. The doctors here are wonderful, along with the office staff. I’m so happy I switched.
I wish I could give negative stars to this place. I’ve been writing out this review since November but have been too nervous to actually post this. However, after my delivery and my sons diagnosis at birth that he has Down syndrome I have the strength to. This is was my second pregnancy with them and they have gone completely down hill. The front office staff is incredibly rude and make you feel like you should be so lucky to be seen here. They don’t call with lab results. The wait to be seen is ridiculous. The nurses and front office staff talk and gossip more than they do their jobs. They talk loudly enough about patients conditions in the hall that everyone in the building can hear your business. If you have government insurance they assume you are broke and can’t afford to be seen. I recall several times where I came in I was not greeted with the friendly niceties other women received. I was passed off to Phoenix Perinatal due to thyroid issues because the doctors in the office couldn’t bother with “high risk” patients. My concerns for my unborn child weren’t listened to when I stated I have Down syndrome in my family and my blood work came back negative for Down syndrome. They didn’t check for any markers via ultrasound nor did the Phoenix perinatal people. They found a echogenic substance in my sons abdomen and completely disregarded the fact echogenic bowels are sometimes markers for Down Syndrome. It’s really a shame because they were the only obgyn in the area worth seeing. If you have any heath issues or health concerns or are on AHCCCS I wouldn’t bother coming here. I feel like the only reason they take people on AHCCCS so they will get paid out by the state.
This place was as hard to find as a needle in a haystack, but they did supply me with the hormones I need.
This is my second pregnancy while being a patient at this office, theyve always been amazing. Dr. Fernandez is the best, hands down!
The entire staff, including the doctor's, are absolutely wonderful. I highly recommend this facility for any OB/GYN care.
The only reason I am giving three stars is because of Dr. Fernandez. He has always been so kind and understanding and he always talks me through what he is doing. I recently went in for my first prenatal appointment and the front office staff was extremely rude and showed no empathy. I could hardly stand up without feeling as if I was going to faint and kept throwing up and they wouldn’t let my boyfriend come back with me, even though I was in no condition to be left alone with a bunch of woman, who I no way would be able to lift me up if I fainted. They were very blunt with me and all they said was “sorry” but I could tell they didn’t mean it and found me annoying. Dr. Fernandez was great and answered all of my questions. I’m still upset that they only do 20 week ultrasounds and up instead of asking if you would like one earlier for friends and family.
Dr Feingold is amazing he took such sweet care of my 2 pregnancies and discovered my thyroid problem.he's kind explains and his bed side manner I can't say enough about everyone here is amazing even if they weren't I'd still come because of Dr Feingold. I've been seeing him almost 20 years
