Wooden Tooth Records reviews
14Cool Shop! Varied selection of new & used vinyl. I find a rare gem or two, every time I go in.
A cool place with a decent selection of records (33 & 45), cassettes, and CDs, as well as a few audio-technica turntable's and odds/ends.
I ALWAYS find something at this record store. It may not be the specific vinyl that I am looking for when I visit. And that does happen on occasion. But I do find other things that I wouldn't expect to find. They are friendly and helpful. They give good recommendations when they understand your musical tastes. The store is clean, with a good layout, and is organized well.
Nice little record store with a very appealing aesthetic! Definitely a hidden gem! Very good service as well! Diverse range of music for sale.
Stopped in yesterday at the E 7th location while on vacation. My first time visiting these guys and as an long-time record collector I was quite impressed. The store is very clean and well kept with each genre of music well organized (AMEN) and new arrivals at the front of the store. Lots of (GOOD!) $2 records to be had at the bottom of each section- something for everyone. They even had a corner of the store devoted to a well curated selection of CD's (yes- weirdos like me still buy them. Wooden Tooth gets plenty of bonus points from yours truly for those!).
They also have accessories, books and their own merch (grabbed a Tshirt on my way out). Prices are EXTREMELY reasonable and the employees (the owners?) were very friendly and helpful. Next time I'm here on vaca I'll be back in and will be sure to make Wooden Tooth a regular stop during my stays in Tucson. Cheers guys!
Awesome record store which has an eclectic and very knowledgeable staff with a healthy record selection. None of the same ole Columbia or RCA catalog nonsense you see everywhere else. Best merch in town too!
There pins are great there records are great they are great there merch is great and boom I just made poem
Like to shop here when I am downtown. One location is close to my barber and Che's. Have even watched live music at their other location that actually has a small bar in it. Friendly staff at both locations. Shop local.
Horrible people. I have a bad back two torn rotor cuffs. They told me to load up these five or six thousand records and then they wouldn't even look at them him what kind of people do that play with people's emotions? Don't even care if they hurt them thank you guys happy Father's Day to me huh
Wooden Tooth always has a wide selection of new and used records ranging every genre from rock and roll to grunge. I love coming here to expand my collection of 50's & 60's music & come here at least twice a month. TL;DR I LOVE THIS PLACE
They had some rare and hard to find records on my wishlist. I cannot recommend this store more for the advanced record collector.
Rad record shop just a block off of the main 4th Ave area. Large selection of new re-pressings, but I was able to come up on some very cool used albums and forty fives. Well placed bins of kids albums meant I had to negotiate with my children. But was a great way to spend half an hour while downtown.
Truly standout collection of records. It’s both incredibly broad in terms of genres and artists while also going surprisingly deep in coverage. It’s very hard to walk out with only two or three albums. I could easily fill a crate each visit!
One of my favorite record shops in town. Leave with a record or two, more often than not. Nice people.
