6We had just moved from the Chicagoland area and my husband needed open heart surgery. Although I am a nurse and my husband had been a cardiac patient for years, this was all new and unfamiliar for us (not to mention in the middle of a pandemic!) I was ready to fly him home to Chicago.but Dr Kolpy & staff were outstanding and put my worries at ease. As a patient family member and as a member of the healthcare community I would highly recommend him as his skill, knowledge, confidence and forthcoming honest manner quickly put my worries to ease. I just wish it could have been outside of a pandemic our incidence happened to better rate followup and further interaction. My husband is just about 1 year postop and doing fantastic. I am extremely grateful for having a cv surgeon of Dr Kolpys caliber right here in Tucson area.
Everyone at the front desk was courteous and efficient, and saw I Dr. Khalpey right on time.
Dr Khalpey has a wonderful bedside manner. Took time to go over test results and explain everything in a easy to understand way. Very pleased with the office, Dr Khalpey and the rest of the medical staff working with him.
Thanks to Dr. Zain Khalpey’s insight I was routed optimally — to a better process with a better outcome expected — that would also be less harsh to me physically.
Specifically, I was offered this more preferable process option (robotically mediated surgery) rather than the typical open heart surgery approach. Many thanks to you Dr. Zain Khalpey!
