Zipps Sports Grill, Scottsdale AZ

Terrible customer service. Was asked to wear a mask which I believe in. I go in and not one person has a mask on. Was shunned to the hostess stand by the bartender on the phone. Would have tipped her but I guess she prefers to work for free. The host went to get my food and ran to the back after me seeing him grab it off the server station. I asked him why, he lied and said he went to the back to grab my food. I saw him pick it up and run to the back. Probably spitting in my food since I mentioned something about how many people were in there And the close proximity of the guests. I rejected the order and I will not return again spending tons of money at Zipps all over the valley including this one.

Brutal just brutal nothing like supporting local during covid and getting subpar food. Now is the time to treat anyone that walks in above and beyond normal. Stopped in with wife after golf ordered 2 beers 16 ounces 14 bucks mind you ordered onion rings out in like 2 min uneatable. We wondered why out so quick not due to the service just passing something off. Never again ever ever ever. Not even a beer taken off for trying to kill us with your food.

Messed up my food order. I live almost 20 minutes away. Jacob the manager was rude and short with me when i called. I offered to to send a picture of the opened box showing how they got the items incorrect. But he was so rude. Said the only way i could get a refund or a fix is if i drove all the way back right now (20 minutes) and showed him the food in person. I couldn’t even come tomorrow with receipt and pictures.

I eat here average 5 times a month. I will not be coming back and will be letting family and friends know how they treat their customers after THEY make a mistake.

Great staff, but manager could be friendlier.

You need to understand what social distancing is. Because of what my wife and I saw, we will not be back and we will encourage others no to go.

I stopped going to Zipps 100th st & FLW Blvd because I didn't like the quality of the food. I gave them another chance tonight because I didn't want to drive far for take out. Ordered the chicken skewers, but all of them were smaller than 1 1/2 inches long and tasted like they had been sitting under a heating lamp for a week. NEVER AGAIN! Don't waist your time or money!

My friends and I have been going here regularly since we were in high school (about 8 years). We never had an issue with customer service until meeting Brandon, the manager. Manager Brandon confiscated the legal driver's licensed of everyone at the table (youngest person was 23), claimed they were fake, and told us to leave. I understand needing to validate IDs and do your due diligence but his attitude was horrendous. He treated us as if he caught a few delinquents red-handed, argued with us, refused to mediate, and told us we were free to contact the police. We did, and after 50 minutes the police arrived and made Brandon hand back our licenses. No benefit of doubt, no respect, and naturally no apology at the end. Save yourself the time and just go to Goldies. It has good food and friendly management, unlike Zipps.

Just got here at 10: 45 pmThursday 3/5/20. I have been sitting at the bar for more than 10 minutes. No bartender. No hello. No greeting. Just a bunch of drunk people sitting around. I guess I will go to a bar where people work and serve drinks. Very unprofessional. Would not recommend.

My french fries had a portion of a ~1-inch broken-off shiskabob 'wooden skewer' in them. Very dangerous if I had placed it in my mouth. When I confronted management, they 'asked if I would like another order of fries. '

Would NOT recommend eating any food here, period. Three separate times, months apart from each other, we (my family and I) got really sick every time we ate here. Beer is good and they have pool tables and a jukebox. But other than that, don't go to Zipps for food.

Got a few appetizers with a really large beer. The food was good but the blue cheese dressing was average. Lots of screens like any modern sports bar, any game that's currently going on should be on somewhere. The staff was super friendly and attentive. The tab came out to be a little pricey.

Zipps raised prices on everything up to $4. Some salads and appetizers now don't feel like your getting value anymore. The menu is unchanged and portion size is the same. Those $10 burgers are now $13 as well.

Sara my waitress was super friendly and persistent on ensuring my Cup was always full and all expectations were met. I will be back!

Great place to watch a game just dont expect anything special on the food side of things. Drinks are o.k. If you're not in a rush with a pretty decent happy hour menu.

Its what one would expect from a sports bar, not the cleanest place and the employees are different everytime I visit which I must admit has become less and less frequent. Food is just inconsistent

For starters, Goldies has way better food than this place. I ordered the chicken focaccia sandwich, and It came out like a pita sandwich, all cut up in pita bread.the guy tried to tell me that it was focaccia bread, but I know what focaccia bread looks and tastes like, and that was not it! Very disappointed!

I frequent Zipps quite often. I typically am served by Rachel, who is friendly and attentive. The Zipparitas are my go-to. I recommend them to anyone. Good food and pleasant environment.

Food was really good. Beer was cold and not flat. Service was friendly and fast. Atmosphere was everything you'd want from a sports bar. I'm from PA and wish we had one like this there.

The food is decent enough for a sports bar. Can't really go wrong with anything on the menu. However, service is a hit and miss here. Server takes your order in good time, but the food takes forever to get. You could wait a good 20-30 minutes for a meal sometimes. The worse was 50 minutes. I use to come here quite often in the past, but now I hesitate because of the slow service.

Great staff, a nice variety of food to choose from. They have a scratch kitchen which is such a nice change from your typical bar food.

Very friendly staff. Prices are good. Good food. Lots of televisions to watch sports. Typical local bar and grill.
