Great travel group! I’ve been on 3 trips (Finland, Alaska, Madagascar), and en route to my 4th (Bali) with them and I always have a great time. I feel safe and know that any concerns are addressed fairly by the tour guides. All the places we get to see are always amazing, and they go above and beyond to make sure we experience even more than what the tour includes. Madagascar is an interesting country to visit, full of contrasts. 1000 Treks planned an awesome, all encompassing itinerary that I'm glad I experienced. Seeing gorgeous lemurs, geckos, and chameleons in the wild, the dense jungles, beautiful beaches, and deserts with endemic baobab trees are things I will never forget. The northern portion's snorkeling with whale sharks was a highlight. The poor infrastructure was as eye opening as it was educational. Thank you, 1000 Treks, for another great adventure!

I went with them on the Scotland adventure and it was 2 weeks I will truly never forget! We saw everything on our tour. I played bagpipes, I went repelling in a canyon on zip lines, I got to see native wildlife up close and personal. We also got to tour enchanting castles, see a live falconry show, and have a proper Scottish dinner wearing traditional kilts and sashes!

1000 Treks was everything I was looking for in a travel experience. Eduardo and Leigh took care of every detail from small to big, and the trips I’ve done with them have a TON of variety in all the activities. I also like how flexible it is, that you can choose how much or little you want to do. I’d never traveled with a group before and now I want to all the time! The people on the trips have been so nice & fun, and there’s a really cool energy you get to experience by traveling with like-minded adventurers. 10/10 recommend traveling with this amazing, exciting & inspiring company!

I am SO LUCKY and GRATEFUL to have found 1000 Treks! My first trip with 1000 Treks was to the Galapagos. As an experienced, active traveler who likes to see and do as much as possible, I was nervous about traveling with a group. What if we spend all of our time doing the “hurry up and wait” thing? What if the other folks are slow? Or difficult? I shouldn’t have worried, and you shouldn’t either. Eduardo and Leigh are consummate professionals. They’re generous, kind, organized, thoughtful, care deeply about everyone’s experience, and they never stop. We had the opportunity to go from sunup to sundown (and beyond!) or relax at our own pace. I saw and did everything I wanted and more. Folks in the group who had traveled with 1000 Treks before were active, engaged, respectful, and friendly. Issues were handled calmly and discreetly (I was asked to swap roommates a few days into the trip; ended up with a new friend!) and I wouldn’t hesitate to book with 1000 Treks again. Indeed, I’m going to Antarctica with 1000 Treks in 2024 and waiting impatiently for them to open Israel, Jordan, and Egypt so I can reserve a spot. Join us! You’ll be glad you did!

Update: Just returned from an EPIC trip to view the Northern Lights at the Arctic Circle during the spring solstice (March 2023) with 1000 Treks. Highlights were the Aurora Borealis, Running Reindeer Ranch, Chena Hot Springs, the Aurora train from Anchorage to Fairbanks, and the intelligent, interesting, friendly people on the trip. I've made lifelong friends, am beyond satisfied, and looking forward to my next adventure with Eduardo and Leigh.
