This is one of the excellent car shipping companies. They helped me ship my BMW X5 from Los Angeles to New York in a quick and timely manner; the whole process took only about 3 days and the shipping rate costs me around $650, which is pretty cheap. Their salesperson Christina was very responsive and helpful and walked me through every step of the process. 168 is definitely one of the professional, legitimate, and reputable auto transport companies near Los Angeles in CA, I highly recommend them.

Bad business ethics and integrity need to be called out. This is an actual REAL review. I hired this company for our recent move and it turned out to be the WORST customer experience I've ever had- by a landslide. My dealings with the company have been nothing short of shocking. They shipped our car and about 20 moving boxes. When my belongings finally arrived, 2 suitcases were broken, and 1 box was missing. My husband and I reached out immediately and told them the missing box is extremely important because there were possessions of my deceased dog who meant the world to me. And that's where the HORRIFIC experience started. We called them several times wanting to speak in person and there was no response nor did they returned our calls. They responded by "texting" instead, simply asking for photos of damaged suitcases without any further explanation and what the next step are. NONE was given. We literally had to chase CAR2TW/carshipping168 to get an update, and their replies usually take more than a week at a time and when they do, they beat around the bush to avoid offering any real solution or explanation, let alone apologizing for what happened. When we finally connected with the owner over the phone and tried to understand the situation, he condemned us for making him spend $60 dollars for a 6 min call as he was traveling during that time. As it turned out, after we hired this company, they hired FedEx to ship the boxes on their behalf, so they had to file a claim with FedEx. Fast forward to the verdict, I didn't get the box back and it was forever lost. In the end, I received a $300 settlement. According to CAR2TW/carshipping168, FedEX was only paying $142 and they were kind enough to match it to $300. They made an "exception" for us. I also found out FedEx issued the settlement way before, but I wasn't notified until 8 days later. I even followed up in the interim and with no surprise, there wasn't a single response. The owner himself then admitted that he was dragging his feet and forgot about it. If I didn’t ask, I might have ended up waiting for another month before this owner remembers someone is still desperately waiting for an update. Again this simply shows how much this company cares about its customers. Throughout this process, no one from CAR2TW/Carshipping168 that was decent enough to give us 1 call and explained what happened, not to mention a formal apology. NOT A SINGLE CALL. I had to chase them every step of the way.
Yes, this is the type of customer service I experienced, and if this message could reach you, please carefully consider and evaluate your options if circumstances allow. We were short on time and found CAR2TW and decided to hire them. However, there was NO paperwork, NO CONTRACT GIVEN (for the boxes), no bill of lading, and packing tips from their end. Nothing. It was our miss. We took our chances and the painful lesson learned. So please be careful with this. I certainly hope this doesn't happen to you.  My heart hurts thinking about losing these special items and then having someone you trust and paid for acting so apathetic about it. This is shameful and disgusting.
