1st Stop Urgent Care & Family Practice

I would have appreciated more respect from the man at the front desk but I understand everyone has hard days. 3 stars for the feeling of being unwelcome by the new employee but 5 stars for the service provided throughout the years.

Don’t waste your time and money here. Waited hours to be seen and they never pick up the phone here.

I was a patient at first stop urgent care for about 4 years. Every appointment I paid out of pocket 160 bucks. I take suboxone and have withdrawals if I don’t take it. I moved to Indiana in July and because of COVID I was able to see Jason the doctor via teleconference for acouple of months. Today I called for a visit via teleconference. They said they no longer do this and stopped last month. Nevertheless, failed to tell me about this with at least a phone call. I have one day left of medicine and his solution was you can find a doctor out here even though no doctor are taking new patients and to find a suboxone doctor takes time. Nevertheless, did I mention I have to do all this in 24 hours? You should be ashamed of yourselfs. To give no notice about this is very unprofessional. I begged for one last appointment or even a refill to get by accouple of days and the answer was no. Worse of all no sympathy from the front desks people.

Doctor Ray was FANTASTIC! Very professional and nice. I had to pay out of pocket because they don’t take Blue Cross PPO, but the experience here was totally worth it! Seems like he actually cares, which is not normal nowadays, unfortunately.
Anyway, you will not be disappointed seeing him! Great doctor, nice office!

Went into urgent care for my son’s head wound. Get to the front desk and my wife tells the receptionist that we have tricare prime. The lady scoffs and states that she hates dealing with that insurance; insurance which is used in the care of active duty military personnel and their family.
How about this receptionist lady; instead of complaining of the type of insurance, you instead focus on the patient and caring for his wound.
My wife and son finally see the doctor and he states that we visit another urgent care because he doesn’t have the glue to seal up his wound and he is also out of staples.
I’m deeply disappointed with their care of patients. We don’t make a habit of visiting an urgent care but expected some sort of basic medical aid. Instead they ridicule our insurance and push us out the door to another clinic.

Excellent service. Very nice and professional. Doctor Jason PA very knowledgeable and kind and well rounded. They all helped my partner at a time of need and with her injuries. This is the best place to go in Camarillo. I highly recommend 1st stop

Careful - they are NOT open today (Sat), phone is on auto-pilot, and says they are open today for walk-ins. Best to call before you walk-in, or get an appointment before you come. Wonderful doctors and staff though - perhaps they are making changes that don't show in messages or signage yet?

He is very well versed in his profession and a great listener, with an outstanding "bedside manner". Always positive and professional, Jason P. A.makes your urgent care visit a pleasant experience. Because of Jason P. A. 's impressive ability to help my multiple ailments, I have decided to make him my primary care doctor, as he offers that service as well. I have been going to 1st Stop Urgent Care for a couple years now. I love that they accept walk ins and are even open Saturday. The staff is always great to me as well.

Both Doctor Argueta and Practitioner Jason Fajardo are very caring professionals. I have been a patient for over three years now and feel very fortunate to have such good doctors in our own town of Camarillo. The nurses are also exceptionally pleasant also.

The entire experience, from kaing online appointments to being seen by a professional has been great.
The followup, the extended help, and going above and beyond to help in my care and recovery have been very appreciated.

My experience with this clinic is that the staff and doctors are very knowledgeable and professional and care greatly about your health and how they can best help you. I would happily recommend them to anyone. They provided much better service then my primary care provider.

The receptionist is very friendly and understanding. The doctor and his nurse, however, were not in the office. Doctor had a family emergency (understood), nurse was out to lunch. For an urgent care unit, it is rather odd to have NO one available to respond to an emergency. However, for now it is still my first choice for an urgent care. Office is very clean and pleasant, and just by talking to the receptionist I could tell she cared. I had a sense that I have chosen the right place. Unfortunately no one is immuned from having an emergency. Even doctors. Life happens! Luckily, my condition had subsided over night while waiting for my appointment. Perhaps, everything happens for a reason.

The doctors are this urgent care are trustworthy and knowledgeable. They truly care and want to help. I feel at ease knowing that in any emergency situation, I know exactly where I will go and take my family: First Stop Urgent Care.
