$2 Car Wash

This is where I take my car that can't go through the car wash. I go here because they maintain the place very well so it's actually possible to clean your car. No complaints and ill keep going here, but you're gonna need a just a bit more than $2 to properly clean your car, but that okay because you can get the quarters you need. 4-6 bucks does the trick.

Works well only problem had to put over $2 to get started. That's fine unless you just need a rinse.

We had just come into town after camping at lost lake, we parked here to wash the truck and rest a bit before heading on. Across the street is a park that has a restroom in it, so I opted to take the dogs on a walk and use their facility's, as opposed to peeing on the ground like a homeless person might have to. Buuuut, the park bathrooms were locked, so I came back to the car wash and looked for a secure private place to pee discreetly, and as soon as I pulled down my pants, the property lights came on. Startled, I hopped into the truck and peed in a bucket.

At least I didn't wet myself.

My husband and I were tired from our camping trip, we're elderish.and we were moving slowly, getting in gear for giving the truck a wash, and the dogs were still eager to go on a walk.so I hopped out of the truck with the dogs for a walk. When I came back about 7minutes later, the Clovis PD had my husband sitting on the curb and they were looking into the truck with their flashlights,

Long story short, the owner had called us in as trespassers. I guess they got a security camera that they watch!

Kinda creepy for a 24/7 car wash, that's across the street from a park, with a really cool bike lane behind it. Smack dab in the middle of good ole old town! I mean, c'mon.

Anyhow, the cops basically treated us like homeless folk and they warned us about how the people of Clovis don't tolerate strangers lolligagging around their establishments.

We are traveling around the state. Sometimes, traveling around the cities, to see what's around the corner. Because sometimes every corner is exactly the same and sometimes they are so different you get confused about what city your in.

Only $1, $5 bill exchanger to quarters onsite. No credit card. All I have is $20s and plastic. Lost this sale.

It’s open 24 hrs.so that part is good. I wasn’t able to get high-pressure soap to dispense, and there’s rinse but not spot-free. I wish there was spot free. Owner should consider installing the necessary equipment to do so. I used less than $3 so it’s pretty cheap proposition either way.

$3.00 for 6 minutes now. Goes fast and so much excess soap forces you to add more $ to be able to rinse it off, or go soapy, which I had too cause I ran out of quarters & only had a $10 bill. So be prepared!

Pros- Good water pressure
Cons:
1) No soap dispenses when selected on the dial so it's just plain water blasting off dirt which is bad for the paint finish.
2) The rinse is NOT spot free so will need to rewash somewhere else to get all the spots off.
3) They charge to use vacuums.
4) It's $3 for 6 min.

Nice little spot. It's now $3, but whatever. It just has water, soap and foam brush. No wax or spotless rinse. Kinda sad it lacks so many useful options. Again it's just whatever. Cheap water hose with some soap to spray your car down. That's about all. Kind of indifferent towards it

Great car wash, very clean and safe. Everything works great.
Perfer it over any other

One of the few self-serve car washes that are still open. But all of their equipment seems to work which is great. Hope it never changes.

Wish the DI water was DI. But otherwise this location is always clean and in good operating order. My favorite one to come to for a quick weekly rinse.

No frills, no thrill affordable self wash. A little dark at night. Water, soap, vacuums. Basic, simple. It's a fine go-to lace to get your car clean. Bring towels.
