Sorry to say but I have to use the word SCAM. They advertise on their website they will test to tell you if you have a huge list of genetic variants that cause health problems. Well, when you get your results back you get garbage disclaimers like the one in my photo. “You have zero variants, BUT you might have a variant we don’t test. ” WTH? So I know nothing. I want my money back.

Horrible experience with this company. Here is what happened: bought DNA kit as a gift for my mother on November 1,2021. It was supposed to be mailed to where she is living in Florida with my brother.

Today November 15,2021, they never received it. I did not get one notification since I ordered it. I called customer service three times today. The first two times I attempted to talk to customer service representatives to find out what happened. They both hung up on me when they could not assist me and I asked to speak to a supervisor.

I went online to use the chat and got no assistance. The third time I called the customer service representative could not help me but finally transferred me to a supervisor. I asked for a refund because the supervisor also did not know what happened to the DNA kit. Last awful part, it will take 7-10 business days for the money I paid to be credited back to my credit card.

I am so disappointed with this company and their business practices. Absolutely awful now. When my brother, my daughter and I did this process over a year and a half ago, it was a wonderful experience. I don’t know what has happened. I will be going to Ancestrydna.com now because I recently used their service and was happy with the entire process. I was given notifications each step of the way.

It is very sad to see 23andMe is now functioning at such an low level.

Disappointed! Lost my well earned money and earned very little good information!
