24 Hour Fitness reviews
21Went back today on the reopening (6/22). With appointments, there are less people which is good. However, it's difficult to finish a full body workout in 60 mins which is an enforced time limit. I understand the importance of cleaning but it would be nice to have a little more workout time.
Gym Members - If you are going to this gym, please be courteous and wear your face mask at all times in the gym. Wear it properly to cover your mouth and nose. Please do be ignorant and or arrogant about it. Thank you.
The staff is knowledgeable and always very helpful. The trainers are beyond great. They have seriously strong skills in helping you work on posture, balance, strength and all the regular classes.
This gym used to be good but not anymore. Gym is too small compared to other location.always crowded.from their ac/heater dust is everywhere in the gym in the air. I stop going here due to these reasons.now they stop giving out towers.good luck to tall
It is a very nice gym! The staff are friendly and professional. Sometimes the trainers won't answer questions but some are willing and wanting to help.
The cleaning staff does a great job but they are obviously understaffed for an operation as vast as Mission Hills. They could probably use another 2-4 employees throughout the day. Half the time paper towels have run out or there is barely if any soap to shower with. And the spa and steam room is closed waaayyyyy tooooo loooong. I've seen staff clean both in less than an hour but they are shut off for 4 hours which seems completely unnecessary.iI blame management for not being on top of things. The showers and pool at times have mildew and algae? For real lol green spongy stuff!
I love this place and all it's bad habits.
.
Lately, the problems I mentioned above have improved! If things continue so, I will 5 star.dec26.19
improvements have been consistent
It's new and nice but sadly like all gyms the weight lifting area is very small so it's super packed during regular ours.the place looks huge on the outside but all the space is taken up by the swimming pool aerobics room and some bicycling room.many times when I park there I have to park at the end of the block
I like this gym! They got all kind of new stuff that isn’t normally in the 24f gyms.like full body press and a few other oddies
My favorite gym out of the 3 I have had memberships too. I'm here every morning at 5 am. Everyone clients and staff are friendly and remember you. It's a great and encouraging work out enviorment. My go to gym. Same way I use to feel about.balleys gym
This place use to be the go to gym for me, nice clean and good staff. Everything is breaking down, no upgrade on equipments, dusty and nasty, so dirty, lots of human hair on floors and corners. Everyone is breathing this dust, there is no exhaust on the building with filter, it’s just filthy. I will go back to LA fitness.
They no longer offer towel service. Equipment has taken a hit. Most of the electronics on machines don't synch up the way they should. In a few more months, this place will be just as bad as USA Fitness. It's pretty sad, I enjoyed this place. It's the reason I bought my membership
Use to have towel service but to save the environment they don’t have it anymore if i wanted cheaper service i would go to Santa Clarita
Pretty good but the weights are really heavy and hard to lift. And I never get anywhere on that treadmill.
Equipment is limited which is disappointing! Plenty of parking which is great! But Can't go there between 6 or 8 pm, otherwise you have to wait you turn to use equipment, because too limited, I saw plenty and better machines in Victorville location, IS THE BEST! THEY HAVE EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO WORKOUT, AND IS NOT SUPER SPORT!
MISSION HILLS GYM NEED MORE AND BETTER
EQUIPMENT TO BE SUPER SPORT
A lot of rude people working here. They either need better training or to find themselves a new job some place else.
I enjoy the staff and how it is 24 hours. However it is usually packed and in order to find it bareable you must go at a late time or extremely early. Around the 3 am to 7 am time
Came here on Grand Opening day. This gym is bigger than the Northridge gym. Up-scale and spacious! UPDATE: Jan 14. Too many CNN news on their TVs, Fox Newsis more uplifting. Need a shoulder shrug machine. UPDATE: Feb 7. Need a lateral raise machine. Blinds facing west should be raised up every morning, because the view just makes the whole gym up-scaled vs it being down and making it feel enclosed. 4/2019: need more Woodway treadmills.
Love the gym! And everything about it. Only problem the staff is a bit too pushy when it comes to registering guests onto a membership, it's pretty annoying.
24 Hour has upped its game with a new gym on Sepulveda off the 118. A huge shot out to the staff, especially Ms. Jocelyn. Her great attitude and professionalism is why I've been a member for over 25 years. This gym is beautiful, most things are upstairs but they have an elevator and a unisex bathroom. My absolute favorite thing is the swimsuit spinner which gets all of the water out so you are not taking home a soggy suit. Plus, they have a whole bunch of classes from Cycling to Zumba. So happy I came here today.
Gym not big enough for the membership volume. I was at the Sherman Oaks Galleria location then moved to the North Valley. The gallery had redundant machines on two floors there so it was easier to work out. Here I sometimes have no choice but to alter my workout or leave early because there is a waiting line for cable crossover machines, the decline squat machines, or the benches. Here they call it a super sport and charge $10 extra because they hand you a little towel if you want. Disappointing. Parking is no picnic either unless you drive a tiny car.
This is a massive 24 hour fitness and definitely the best one I’ve been to. They have tons of deadlift pads and bench press machines - and everything else. Lots of people can lift simultaneously here, something you don’t see at gyms very often.
