24 Hour Fitness, El Cajon CA

Guest 1 day pass is $25. Every other 24 I have taken a guest is $10. Nothing different there from the Santee or Rancho Penesquites ones to make it a $25 cost.

First visit today and I was thoroughly impressed! The lady at the front desk was extremely kind and helpful, showing me the gym and getting me setup! I swam for about an hour and used the jacuzzi and steam room! Everything was clean and comfortable! Even the other gym members seemed friendly. Excited to start training here!

It's a nice Gym, but it's not a 24 hour, M, T, W, Th it's a 17 hour fitness, Fr, Sat, Sun it's a 16 hour fitness, they should at least keep it open until 12 midnight, some of us work late, and this is the closest for me.

Crowded but good for the price! They have a pool, sauna, steam room, and all the equipment you'd need. They also offer classes on site as well. Military friendly. They even have a store inside where you can purchase protein powder and energy drinks and such. Good gym overall.

Not 24 hrs. Gym equipment not up to date. Fix those 2 things. This will easily be 5 in my eyes.

Pluses:
I like the layout of the gym overall. Lockers are up front which leads to the pool/jacuzzi/sauna/steam room. Also, lots of equipment!

Classes:
The cycling class on Sunday is intense! Instructor is motivating and the class definitely pushes you to the limit as long a you HIIT that +. Definitely recommend!

Sunday Zumba class is fun. You’ll definitely find out if you have two left feet quickly. I’ve never taken a dance class, if you are a novice do yourself a favor and find a spot in back because they do not break down the steps for you. I did not wear my contacts and I felt like I had a rubber neck trying to watch the instructor in the front, best if you just watch one of the regulars because they got the steps down. Either way I kept laughing at myself and it should be a judgement free zone. Female dominated class but cool to see some men feelin’ themselves:)

Minuses:
Not open 24hrs.
Not eligible to use free 3 day passes (it’s a busy gym)
Haven’t seen many patrons do a wipe down after they use equipment (if ya sweat drips…it’s courteous to wipe it down)
Some elliptical machines need maintenance.

Overall:

Solid gym. Employees are friendly and has all your basic gym needs!

Absolutely the best place to work out, service wise is perfect. Jorge Paredes the manager himself was super nice, He will give you the best deals.

Not open at 24 due to I'm not sure what? We all pay for the 24 hour benefit. Everything eles is back to normal except this fitness club. And now it's 5: 07am and it's not open and no staff is inside. They usually
Open at 5am, but no workers are here. This is not okay!

Just i sign in. Last week and the new manager his name Jorge is really nice person.he give me a good deal. And a lot options payments.if u wanna sign in ask for Jorge.is really patient and helpful.

Unfortunately they have bad customer service, you’re better off going to a small gym where they value your business.

Excellent customer service from JORGE! Signing up for a new membership was so smooth and convenient. He provided great details about all the promotions and personal training sessions! Ask for JORGE when you come to this location!

I pay a monthly membership fee for them to be open 24 hours as they advertise and they still only have it closing at 10: 00 p.m. When I'm getting off of work I would like to go to the gym but they are already closed this is a problem being it's right near my house. It would be nice to get the use out of the gym and not only on the weekends

Not open 24 hours like name and the place’s hours on the door says lol waste of gas coming here

What a joke my husband was a member for years but I went with him to work out with a three day pass and they don’t accept them at this location my husband had already drank his pre workout and the “customer service” is a joke he did nothing to try an assist us just told us we don’t take those anymore bye no asking a manger for a day pass I literally would have bothered no one and now you lost my husband as a customer we will be going to a real gym!

This gym is very deceptive! I would not send my dog here. They need to change their name from 24 hour fitness to a different name because it’s not 24 hour fitness.if it were 24 hour fitness they would not close at 10 PM 9 PM and 8 PM. Charging people the same amount of money is not good when the gym is not 24 hours.

I love going to the gym. Starting with my trainer Ryan, he is so nice and at the same time he really pushes me to reach my goals! The entire staff have great customer service skills! They all really make you feel welcomed when you arrive and are always in such a great mood! It makes my training go well! Thank you for your lovely business and great staff!

Very rude, Kicking people out for accidentally breaking something and making them pay a rediculous amount of money to replace the item, when the item itself is worth 30-40$. Horrible Customer Service.
