24 Hour Fitness reviews
18Modern and fairly updated equipment. There always seems to be enough room for workouts - though it does get crowded and busy. I do hope management / ownership is considering expanding to the vacant space next door as the gym could definitely use extra space for free weights and other floor based exercises.
Please exercise caution during the nighttime, as the parking lot in this area lacks adequate lighting. It is particularly risky for females when they are walking to their cars. Remain vigilant at all times, as failing to do so may result in being labeled as "missing" or becoming a victim of either car theft or assault. This location is highly attractive to predators and thieves.
I do not recommend this business. Whatever they promise you when you are buying the membership, they do not keep any, and they do not think they are responsible. When you rise a concern, the answer is “we can help you to cancel the membership”. Just do not trust them.
Modern facilities with lots of amenities. It was just so busy any time I went (6am, lunch, 8pm) that I was almost never able to do the workout I wanted. The gym etiquette doesn’t make things better. Instead of getting up and letting people work in, people camp out on machines for long periods. When I did politely ask to work in, people seemed bothered by it, unlike at other busy gyms. Weights are often not where they’re supposed to be, and I had to consider buying my own weight collars because they were nowhere to be found.
Everything is great, why don't they make a hotel where it's cleaned by the members? I only have to pay some 400/ year I'm upset other places are way expensive. The showers are the same as rooms and if it was marketed as a hotel the business pays for itself. 400/year for a shower and a personal room offered regardless of the reason! Look at the policy, it's basically a shower and room for only 400/year. I would pay 400/year for a place with only outlets and no shower that runs for 24 hours for studying. Maybe instead of equipment there are non electric lockable sleeping pods
The men’s showers are filled with mold, wall to wall, and in their soap dispensers. I don’t want some auto-response from 24 Hour management, I would love for them to come up with a more routine cleaning regimen (which they don’t at all, since mold spreading to this level takes appx 12 days to develop).
The showers pose significant health hazards for immunocompromised people breathing in BLACK MOLD.
This location is my go to gym when in CA. They are absolutely amazing. Earl and his team have such excellent customer service and keep this gym in absolute tip top shape. We're originally from the Bay Area and would patron this gym often before moving. We were so happy to see they survived the pandemic closures and are thriving again.
This facility is always very clean. Many patrons have great gym etiquette which is so clearly facilitated by the practices of the staff and making sure equipment is properly used, cleaned and returned. The staff is super friendly and approachable.
They offer a variety of classes, personal training and just tons of equipment if you prefer to do your own thing. Highly recommend them!
Started off here. The mold is what gets me. And the machines are dirty inside where the weights are encased. The vents in the bathroom as well nasty. Staff meh, a couple of workers are ok. Very young kind of crowd so best times are around early morning like 1am to about 6am. Didn’t use the sauna here. Forgot.
The store staff here are extremely negligent towards customers. They rarely ask questions, and today at lunchtime, a female staff member with a ponytail got into an argument with my friend (who is a 24-hour member). That ponytailed female staff member was extremely rude and insulted my friend by saying, 'Get out, you are annoying! ' (We have a recorded proof of this).
7/23-7/24 2 women cut locks and ran off with others' items. One was just sitting in the locker room in her underwear. In retrospext it seemed she waiting for new people to walk in. She was, or acted, startled when a new person walked in to shower. She cut the lock while the person was taking a shower then was later spotted rushing out with a second women just after the theft.
Staff contacted police immediately upon request and was very helpful during the post theft process. Much gratitude for being at his station during the night and easy to locate for this emergent situation.
Keep an eye out for suspicious behavior and help keep us all safe and aware!
The stuff is fine the gym is clean but the management is the worst ever
I had a problem with my membership they changed me extra for a month I asked to talk with the manager
He comes over and said there is nothing I can do he didn’t even try or ask fo the exact problem and then he walked away very Unprofessional you need to learn how to do a costumer service before to become a manager
I came to this gym for my first Zumba class at 24. The Zumba instructor, Nazanin, was more concerned with filming and her outfit than teaching the moves to new members joining her class. Will attend a different location.
Few of the free moving ellipticals are broken, half the heart rate sensors on the stationary bikes are missing and trash needs to be emptied more often as it gets full quickly.
But it’s a 24, it’s serves it’s purpose and if you can find a machine that’s functioning you can get your workout in.
I've never cancelled a membership so fast in my life as this might be the most disgusting gym experience I've ever had. Not really due to the staff (who are very friendly and probably understaffed) but mainly due to the clientele. On my first day of going in just to use the Sauna multiple people entered it in full gym clothes, built up a sweat while talking loudly, then proceeded to enter the main gym floor to use the machines while completely soaked in sauna sweat. I honestly couldn't believe anyone in the world thinks this is normal behavior. Of course as with any modern gym there is zero enforcement of proper Gym/Sauna etiquette. Cancelled my membership immediately.
This place is as just as bad as the Richmond club. The overnight staff spends more time socializing the cleaning up. Numerous complaints have been filled by Myself and other members and nothing is done. I guess it will take someone getting injured and filing a lawsuit due to the unsafe conditions before something is done
And please spare me the auto generated response use that energy to improve the conditions of this club
Decent smallish 24. Clean, but many broken cardio machines. I appreciate that the bathroom is kept clean. Friendly staff is nice. Quite busy after 4pm to 6 or later. Many members hog universal machines sitting looking at phones between reps for a good 15 min.
Plant fitness down the street is cleaner and cheaper. Looks like they mop the floor once a month.
For the price, it should have more equipment considering there is a big empty spot in the middle for another 4-6 piece is of equipment like leg curls, another decline bench press, and where are all the 45lbs plates going? The squat racks are losing like 2 a week
