Love this 2nd street location. They have a better collection of streetwear brands than the Long Beach location but a large portion of the store is also non-categorized thrift/vintage items which are fun to look through.

(Shoutout to the Stüssy rack)

THIS PLACE IS ABSOLUTE GARBAGE! They tried to offer me a one bucks for a brand new pair of Jordan’s in the box. I’m telling everyone and anyone to avoid this place like the plague! They should be out of business!

I’ve had great experiences with 2nd street so far. Brought in my used clothes about 4-5 times now and have gotten fair deals. Just came in today with a used BAPE hoodie and was offered $100, the sales associate, Brian was very helpful and I asked if I could get a bit more and I was then offered $140!
You get more or less depending on the brand of course, but I was very happy with the price I was offered and I would definitely come back in the future.

I have shopped here a handful of times. You really have to dig to find a quality priced thrift piece. Other than that, it’s not really a thrift store. It’s a secondhand seller. Most of the items were bought from sellers that were being lowballed. When I went in to get an estimate for new luxury brand items they offered me $25 each piece. I wouldn’t be bias and say that there isn’t any good quality thrift finds but most of the items are overpriced for what they buy and resell for. Staff is super friendly never had issues. Just wish they were more transparent with their buyers on the markup of their items.

Really dope store with a variety of used designer, at reasonable prices. Come take a look. You won’t believe it till you see it. I’ll be back

Mixed feelings about the place. Some stuff sells for over $1000.00 while other stuff is $5.00 and stuff that's $20.00 is electronically tagged. Great selection of stuff but prices are totally up in the air and most of the time not too great. A lot of stuff is really worn out and not worth the purchase. This isn't a thrift store, it's a resell store. It's like if Grailed and Depop collabed to make a brick-and-mortar store in the hipster Mecca known as The Camp (which is a total rip-off of The Lab). Either way, you'll have to look hard for stuff thst you want to actually buy. I bought a Hawaiian shirt and a t-shirt and it set me back $38.

Terrible Terrible service. I bought a used jacket that should have been refused. This goes to show how greedy the person in charge was to me recently. He told me that all sales are final regardless that they sold me a jacket with a defective zipper. I paid over $45 dollars to secure the best jacket i can find this weekend and going home and using it and shocked to see how it was not working and how i was treated over the phone. I DIDNT CHOOSE TO DRIVE BACK TO COMPLAIN BECAUSE I WONT BE GOING TO ANY LOCATION THEY HAVE IN SOCAL AT ALL.

This was a horrendous horrendous place to shop at. I should have received an immediate apology and given a chance to bring item in with receipt especially the next day coming back and allowing them to see the zipper is jammed. I should have received a sincere apology before they reminded how greedy this place is run by. A lot of things there are dirty and smelly as well. I don’t know why anybody thinks wearing dirty shoes is a thing.

Glad Alicia still works there, for you guys complaining about how 2nd Street works I'll be absolutely honest, I hate the 1cent offers and stuff, but since moving from California to where I'm at now, you guys need to be grateful they even look at most of that stuff, I have no resell shop for clothes near me for 3 hours, so I miss my 2nd Street, crossroads, and buffalo exchange people. I request people I believe treat me fair, and when I go back, I'm requesting Alicia, day off or not she's the best, and if she doesn't know she'll do the research to make an honest appraisal. So word to all who leave a negative review, remember these 2 very important things, just because it has a name, doesn't make it trendy (Loro Piana and very few brands being an exception), and secondly (sorry Alicia for the possible extra workload) see Alicia if you want appraisals, her, if Micah is still there, and Javon, only those three I trust looking up anything, anyone else, I'll just go back another day.

If you’re buying stuff there is a great selection of items, but don’t expect much if you’re planning to sell here. The staff is usually very nice but they already get so many people coming in trying to sell so they never offer you much for your items. And since they’re so busy it usually takes at least 2-3 hours for them to finish going through all your clothes.

I just tried to go check out the store last week. We walk in at 8: 02 pm not knowing that the store had closed. 2 steps in the door our greeting from an employee was “We’re closed. ”

There were 8 other people in the store still shopping, and we had a pretty serious intention of making a purchase.

To follow this up with some constructive criticism, perhaps consider having your staff offer a quick tour of the store in these types of situations! 100 seconds to show us around, tell us about a few of the store’s key features and offerings, and kindly invite us back during regular business hours is all it would take to guarantee we’d return and get even more excited about the store!

Disappointing selection of clothes that are sold for full price while giving extreme lowballs to sellers. I brought a Louis Vuitton bag in pristine condition which was rejected while waiting 7 hours on an offer from them because it didn’t meet their “guidelines, ” even though they’ve accepted a used bra with sweat stains from another seller. They wanted to give me $20 for a Coca-Cola x Kith shirt with all the tags and a pair of Vintage 1980’s Levi’s bell bottoms which are extremely rare and I’ve never seen carried by another seller. They also tried to give me $2 for a rare Oakley shirt and a never-worn Travis Scott T-shirt that retailed for $65 and goes for almost $200 now. You can probably receive better offers from your neighbors by starting your own yard sale.

Been going to this store for years never had any problems always treated with respect until tonight when the preppy chick doing my buy with glossy nail polish (not the nice Asian one) went out of her way to convince me my Essentials sweatshorts where in fact not purchased from Nordstrom and unauthentic. I said it was okay I’ll wear them they probably where flawed from being washed.

BUT NOOO. This sweetheart was certain I was pulling up with fakie Essentials. Completely disrespectful. Disregards my suggestion as some kind of defense mechanism lmfao.the fashion gods curse you with only ugly dudes in the club… sorry babe.

Honestly, I was kind of expecting more in all senses: quality, quantity, price tag.
Some designer bags had the same price tag as new, like what…?
As soon as you enter the store all you see are racks full of clothes “kinda” sorted.
If you have the time to dive in, might as well could find some treasures.
