43's Mufflers & Brakes, Pomona CA

Writing a review under my wife’s account. Took my Mercedes E320 to 43's brakes and mufflers today 11/12/2020 when my catalytic converter needed to be replaced. Jennifer and the entire team was very professional, but also extremely helpful and kind. They went above and beyond with their service. Their prices are fair and made sure my car was safe and reliable again to transport my family around. Thank you guys! Would not hesitate to bring my car back to them!

I can't believe I forgot to review this place. My mechanic told me I needed a catalytic converter and then informed me that he doesn't install them. The feeling of having to find a business and hope they are trustworthy gives me anxiety so I wasn't ecstatic. I made one phone call and a woman answered who asked me 5 questions about the vehicle. With the answers she immediately gave me a dollar amount. I thought it sounded fair so I asked when they could do the work? She replied tomorrow at 930. I showed up at 935 to a crowd. I knew I got there last so I was expecting a long wait. A min after I arrived a young woman appeared ready to handle business. She locked eyes with a customer in the crowd and made her way towards them. Got some info and she turned to me. I'd like to think it's because we found each other attractive but maybe I just found her attractive. I digress. I said, I spoke to a girl yesterday about my van and instantly she remembered the conversation, asked where it was parked, took my keys and moved on to the next customer. After she checked everyone in she shifted to directing the mechanics to their work. I waited for a slow moment to give her my phone number so she could call when it was finished or to see if I was available to take her out because she seemed progressive. When the time came, she informed me my van would be ready within 45 min and asked if I could wait. Obvi she was treating this like a Tango. As we took turns leading, now it was back on me to ask for her phone number. Long story short, I was informed the broken honeycomb had made it's way up the muffler and it would need to be replaced as well. I was immediately give a price to which I agreed and told it would be an additional 10 min. My van was ready within 60 seconds of the original estimate plus 10 min and the prices I was given included tax. All this to say, I choked and drove away without giving any hope to my mother that I will ever have a girlfriend. Wait, this is "Missed Connections" right?

Good prices but the shop doesn't open on time. As per it's schedule on Google. They supposedly take appointments but then it's first come first serve. They close way before the closing time stated on Google. I rather pay the extra $20 and go to a different place. Rather than deal with the back and forth. But if you don't mind wasting half your day waiting, then this spot is for you. But I'll take a pass.

Very professional and up front on pricing on a custom exhaust pipe that I needed. Delivered at exact time promised.

Jennifer was great. She gave me a decent price and service was fast. Employees were courteous and knowledgeable of their work.

They gave me a great quote, compared to other muffler shops. Jennifer was very helpful, and explains things very well. Was in and out with in 1/2 hr.

Ask for Jennifer she's the best she will have your car taken care of the right way not like other shops that was t to ripe you off she's great!

Went to get my catalytic converters replaced. The lady there was very nice and professional. The mechanic does REALLY good work. They got me in same day and was done 2 hours later. They really hooked me up! The welds on the pipes were awesome! Very good quality, I will be back for a new exaust system.
