449 changed my entire outlook on sobriety and in turn, saved my life. When I got into the rooms of this facility I had little to no hope that it would help me, or that I needed help to begin with. Each and every person I encountered had an amazing impact on my life, from the clinical director to the program drivers, and everyone in between. I found a family here, people who truly cared about my wellbeing, not just going through the motions like far too many other places do. I cannot put into words how grateful I am to have become an alumni to this phenomenal program. I would highly recommend this program to anyone struggling with addiction and/or mental health issues.

This program gave me a second chance at life I never thought I could have. I have my kids in my life. I have a job, a stable place to live. When I came in I was homeless, burnt up, broken with no one in my life. I have so many beautiful things in my life now through working a program. 449 gave me a safe place to be able to do that. It is always challenging to make the change and break your addiction. 449 has helped me bridge the gap between a detox/residential program and normal life. I got way more from the program then I expected. It worked for me and I am so very happy I went there.

449 Recovery was available to me after a thirty day program out in Laguna Beach. I was admitted into their 90 day program after completing my previous stay in treatment.

449 Recovery provided a sober place to live, while also providing daily workshops in recovery, aftercare, and addiction awareness. My time spent learning and the desire to stop drinking was priority to the owner, staff, and house managers.

I found myself involved in many different groups that gave me background and knowledge into my disease. While most days are focused on mental health and drug counseling; there are a few days out of the week for fun and games, and outings.

I enjoyed my time in groups, therapy, and working with my case manager. It was very enjoyable to have additional free time once the work days were over. I found myself getting to know the area; exploring the beaches, parks, restaurants, and shopping centers.

Overall my time spent here was remarkable. I feel more confident, graduating and being able to return to a healthy life one day at a time.

I came to 449 recovery after a three month stint at another treatment center. 449 changed my life after not really being sure if I wanted to be clean. Three months here and the therapists, groups, staff and housing were all immaculate. They truly support you in a holistic manner.
