Convenience Store 7-Eleven reviews
13 If there was a way to not even leave a star I wouldn't. Here's why.
1) When I entered the store the middle eastern man with the black beard who was working was laughing and joking with another man about how badly they treat women saying vulgar and nasty comments that would be too repulsive to share on here.
2) When I got to the front to checkout the same man was rude and pushy when I was having trouble finding my money and took my drink away as if he thought I was going to steal the item.
3) The overall cleanliness of the store is grotesque which is an understatement and the staff they employ needs a complete overhaul.
I took my money and went to the 7-Eleven up the street where the customer service is friendly and the place is clean.
As of late 2022, they hired a really nice group of people. They hollar hello upon entry. Sometimes they'll even be a bit silly to help brighten your day. They are super helpful when you pester them with questions. And very friendly.
Bonus, their coffee machines are hardly ever broken. Clean store with better than normal downtown-prices.
I review mostly positive when visiting store
Not this time.
They don't honor all 1.00 reward deals they are argumentative with customers
Always low on stock
Sorry big miss here I'll go down the street way better 7-11
By far the best 7-eleven downtown. The clerks that work there are always way chill, store is clean, & best variety of food and snacks! Dj Shayno-
It's closer to buy stuff there of what you need, but the time is sucks, because it use to be open like all night no matter what.
Staff is nice. Small store, so selection is also. No Alcohol. Even though it says open 24hrs, it's not. Usually closed by 9pm except for Friday and Saturday if it stays busy. If it slows down they'll close.
I'm not sure I am reviewing the right 7-Eleven. I'm thinking of the one at 4th and Broadway downtown, the one a block west of the 5th Avenue Trolley Station.
This store is one of the few places left downtown that are open all night. This shows how after the pandemic, downtown is less secure, having fewer places of refuge, fewer eyes on the street.
As a store, this place is everything you'd expect of a 7-Eleven. It is popular with both barhoppers and homeless people at night. Everyone by day, it seems. The other 7-Eleven on this block has been abandoned.
Not the place to go for coffee if you use half and half or milk. The guy will only allow few without charging more. Not to mention gave attitude to 5 customers in a row. Avoid this location.
I go to this 7/11 alot cause i live nextdoor to it i usually go to get 2 liters of coca cola or iced coffee or use Atm but all of the employees are helpful courteous store is always clean and stocked i love the comvienience
The clerks are nice friendly environment good place to buy from it helps being across the street from the store they got my lucky strike methanol cigarettes and 2 litters of mtw dew cold in fact!
It easy to point out negative things. I would like to take a minute to point out some of the positive things about this store.
The staff here rocks. Its in a location where the staff has to put up with a lot of BS mainly from the homeless community and the Mental Health community please dont cunfuse one with the other. There Raul who wors in the am always very a joy to see. Then there is Kevin (i think that's his name) he has a physical disability but he works his butt off. Justin is a good worker also he has great customer service. There is another one but i.can't remember his name. All these guys do their best!
If the store were open 24/7 I would give them5 stars
I used to love this store. Now the hours are so erratic it's ridiculous! They're typically open from 6am-11pm Mon-Thurs, but now they've started closing at 9pm Thurs-Sun. Who closes at 9pm on the busiest nights in the Gaslamp District? Update your website!
Lets start off light, always out of stock, when the 7/11 2 blocks down seems to have no problems keeping stock.weird. Now moving on, workers always seem to have a bad attitude and have no problem express their frustration about having to "deal with crack heads" and closing the store whenever they please. How do they close up whenever they like, u may ask? They slide a wet floor sign through the inner handles of the door. As a place that's sooo concerned about "dealing with crack heads". That really doesn't seem like the safest way to close up shop.at 12: 30 in the afternoon mind you.
