8 bit Brewing Company, Murrieta CA

Food was phenomenal; I definitely look forward to my next visit.

My only critique for service is due to the fact that wait staff could've been a little more involved/more interactive with customers.

I must have different tastebuds than everyone else in Temecula and Murrieta. The mac n cheese was powdery. The hamburger was overly salty and bland. Not bad enough to not eat, but not very good. The calamari was ok except for some that were still cold inside. The sliders were not so good. The wife said the salmon sandwich was gross.

The food is overly priced for what you get. If you’re into burgers, there are so many other places that are either cheaper and better or the same price and way better.

Food aside, I liked the place. I’d come back for a snack or a beer. The staff were nice, but they don’t provide table service so you have to go to the bar to order and pick up food. Of course, they have no problem having an area for suggested tip. I paid tip, but I don’t think it’s quite fair to waiters and waitresses that work their butts off and receive the same tip.

The atmosphere was awesome though. I really like the fire pits and all the nostalgic pinball machines and video games. They had a couple newer ones. All priced fairly to keep people coming in. My kids and I had a pretty good time, just the food and lack of table service is a bummer.

If we were looking for a place to eat a meal, we would pass this place up. But if we wanted just a snack or beer and play some games, will probably go back.

This place is great with a good assortment of their own beer along with some seasonal selections and a nice food menu to choose from. Everything from burgers, salmon sandwich, salads appetizers and more.

Great atmosphere and the staff are friendly and helpful. You can sit inside and order yourself or sit at tables in their table service areas

We randomly found 8 Bit Brewing off Yelp since we were in the area just visiting for the day and needed some food. Big beer lovers so we had to stop in and check out what was offered here - we were extremely happy we did!

- PARKING -
Large parking lot, no need to worry about finding a spot here!

- SERVICE/ENVIRONMENT -
You order your beers and food at the bar. They'll serve you your beer immediately, and will give you a buzzer when your food is ready for pick-up on the counter. If you're sitting inside, it's self seating. If you're sitting outside, they'll guide you out. There's a main dining/brewery side, and the other is the arcade portion. High tables and bar seating is still available on the arcade side, just limited. A good variety of old school games here, as well as some newer installations. I love their art wall that people have curated to their specific beers - super cool decor!

- FOOD/DRINK -
They ran out of Schnitzel, which I wasn't extremely interested in initially, but when I found out they didn't have anymore, I felt like I had to try it the next time I came back!

Tater Tot Poutine ($16.50) : I absolutely LOVE tater tots - sometimes more than fries! You don't see Poutine offerings much at places, so we hopped on this opportunity. Everything was absolutely amazing, from the crispy tots, to the decadent Duck Confit Gravy, and the cheesy Mozzarella. Really great portion to share as well!

Animal Style Brat (~$15?) : Exactly what it sounds like. Think In-N-Out Animal Style Fries but on a Bratwurst. Really great snap from the brat, and the flavors mixed perfectly together. Fries on the side were nice and crispy - but not as crispy as the Tots!

Mario Tart: BooBerry Boneyard ($8.00) : If you like Sours, you'll love this! Deliciously tart and sweet, super easy to drink - maybe TOO easy; I drank this way faster than I should have!

Cyberfunk ($8.00) : I don't usually like DIPAs but make it a Sour DIPA with these flavors and I'm all for it. A great flavor from start to finish.

8bit Michelada (Taster) : Not my favorite rendition of a Michelada. I felt like there was more Tomato taste than any beer or their serrano mix taste. I did appreciate they were willing to serve a taster portion of this though!

- OVERALL -
A great spot to hang out, grab a beer, eat some grub, and play some games. Lots of large tables outside for your bigger parties, or smaller tables for a nice date.

Was a good chill spot, enjoy the atmosphere. Staff was on it. Only complain I have is that they don't have a bar in the game area. Overall a good spot.

The customer service was really good, we had questions regarding the salad dressing and they responded with a sample. The staff were super friendly.

I haven’t had that bad of food in years. The smash burger wasn’t even close, and meat was dry and tasteless. Even If the burger was even a cheese burger is was horrible. Cesar salad was fair, but the salad wasn’t dresses and no Parmesan cheese.
The games looked like fun and the place had a good vibe.

We had a great time at 8-bit Brewing Company especially a shout out to Kevin who took care of her table and was so awesome he made us so comfortable me and my sissies my cousin and Friends thank you for making it a great birthday️?

Excellent food, drink & service. Outdoor seating is very comfortable. Matt & the 8 bit team are attentive, friendly, personable & responsive.

Very impressive brewery in Temecula. We came to do the hot air balloon in the morning and went to brunch and then came here for a glass of beer. It’s our first time here. Their Jurassic Tart is amazing! It is so smooth and refreshing, you can’t tell it’s more than 9% alcohol! It will catch up on you. We loved it and we got a 4-pack cans to go.

Good food and beer selection here. The tap list is always changing. The arcade has plenty of games to play as you hang out and enjoy your beer.

Very cool place to hangout. Great good, beer was ok, and overall great game atmosphere with their arcade. Very detailed place. I recommend the grilled cheese!

This place is so much fun! Retro video games, beer, and great good appetizers and a game room. Brought me back to my youth!

Great vibes, we came for the sour beers and they were great. A lot of seating and the server was very nice! Coming back for sure

Just had one of their double hazy IPAs at the Temecula balloon and Wine festival…. Worst beer I’ve ever had in my life. Tasted like it was brewed from Tijuana sewer water. I couldn’t finish it. Now I’m puking my guts out. Friend who got the same beer is doing the same thing right now. Not drunk FYI…only 2 beers all day.

Went here for drinks and apps. The atmosphere is amazing as well as their customer service! Our waitress was super attentive and checked up on us so often even with a full house. The sour ales were sooo good and I will be thinking about their tater tots for days lol. Will definitely be coming back!

A really fun brewpub in Temecula that offers great food, good beers, and has an arcade full of classic games. A lot of the appetizers are actually rather filling and go great with the beer. The outdoor seating is especially nice and cool vibe with natural gas heaters everywhere. They arcade is fun kids but especially has a lot of nostalgia for adults who grew up with arcade games in the 90s.

Food was great. Drinks creative and fun. Game room a bit noisy, so if you want a quiet atmosphere I recommend eating outside on the covered patio.
