85°C Bakery Cafe - Cupertino reviews
19This place seems to be slowly loosing its customers. I did notice the food was not as fresh as usual, BUT, it was still very good. I had the tuna salad sandwich, and it was great. Nice bread nice salad. They could offer something with it however at those prices.
The cake I bought in a strawberry came out moldy I bought a mango cake and a piece of it got mold.
*Bring cash for employee tips! *
Tried to tip here recently and the screen did not offer the option. When I asked if I could correct it, I was told by staff that the owner had turned off the feature on purpose because "customers here don't like to be asked for tips". So basically, the staff are here making minimum wage and don't even get to receive tips? Please owners, tell me this isn't true and that you aren't so inhumane to deny employees a basic livable wage. Tipping is just basic etiquette for the service industry. I was also tipping because it seemed like the store was ridiculously understaffed and multiple machines had broken down, so the poor employees were overloaded with a full customer line and inadequate support.
The store locked its doors and employees refused to accept customers at 6: 17pm although it clearly states the close time is 7pm.
Bought a box of cake and moose slices for our small gathering and we loved every single piece
Decent bakery. I tried this franchise on recommendation, but it wasn’t for me.
Lots of pastries, but I’m not really a fan of sweet bread. I prefer salted bread but they don’t sell it here. I ended up buying 1 taro bun and 1 box of cheese bites. Too sweet for me! I also order sea salt coffee, which seems to be this brand’s signature. Nope, this is not my coffee.
The staff was friendly and humorous. The store was clean and organized, 1 side for bread and the other side for payment and coffee ordering.
Just reminding myself to stop coming here. At 6pm almost empty shelves and we're not baking anymore. I get it but there's still an hour and like 20 pieces of bread.
I like Asian pastry. Less sugar. I miss sitting down in the bakery. They took out tables during COVID and in store dinning is not allowed
Amazing place with plenty of options to choose from.
The best part about this place is the value for money.
We tried
Tiramisu
Mango mouse cake
Cheese garlic bread
Hazelnut cup cake
Everything was so fresh and very tasty.
They also have great full sized cakes for different occasions.
Keep it up! ’
My 85C app account was suspended because I made multiple purchases / transaction in a day. I am being punished for consuming 85C products. The worst is 85C did not notify me about account suspension, not until I found out.
Amazing bakery only thing I don't like is the parking and waiting in the long line sometimes
Love 85 degree bakery! The best time to visit is around 11 to get fresh bread with a variety of selections. One time I went there at 6: 30 and there was nothing much left.
5/5/23 the place was okey.very limited baked goods.barely saw anything compared to other joint locations.but i got what i saw and its always great to eat at
This place is really good and a treat to visit. The Pastry and the Coffee & Tea’s are really good. Was in the area first time and stopped here maybe find some good pastry. Stopped in no idea about the pastry. So looked and picked up eight different ones just looking. Grabbed a Tea too. The Tea was really good. The savory pastry’s wasn’t too sweet or overly sweet but just right. It turned out I actually loved everything I picked up though seemingly random in getting some pastries. I really enjoyed everything. This is now my must visit place for some goodies. It’s right next to a little hangout park area.
Great treats, as usual. And every time I go in I expect the prices to be higher. This place is surprisingly affordable
The breads and pastries are delicious! I only complain that they cannot heat anything up for you, everything is served in plastic, and the staff is impolite.
The new UBE BREAD is tasty! Love the brioche as always! The mochi egg tart is a little thin. I attached lots of pictures because it's not often to see so many breads available
They always have fresh bread and bakery. I wish there are more salty options but it’s good overall.
Very slow service
They forgotten my order and I was waiting for the order to be given
No motivation to the staff to service the customers
And the taste is horrible
Coffee was very cold, and very bland. Lot of pastries, but I never tasted the awful and horrible Tiramisu.
They should go out of business instead of reaping money from customers.
There are better places around Cupertino square.
