99 Cents Only Stores, Vista CA

Very late, according to what they should be open at 7 am, but at 7: 20 they are still closed and some women just walk by, making signs that we should wait. I don't know if these are your rules, but at work late would already be 7: 01,

Love 99¢ stores. This one is close to me. Big selection. Did not find everything thing I need.
My only complaint is the store was a mess. I know they are probably short handed. But this is a business. Just looks like they don't care.
Cashier was ok. Did not help me bag anything. I guess if u are going in for only a few things.

Shouldn't be called 99¢ store anymore. The last two times I've gone here I bought a handful of items and only two of them were actually 99¢. Everything else has gone up, obviously due to inflation. Now their prices are about the same as most other discount stores, like Walmart and WinCo. $2 for a single 2 liter bottle of soda, or 2 for $3? ! Get outta here! The only point in coming here is for the quick convenience if you only need a few things.

Like this 99, but long line when I'm in a hurry, 99 is the cheapest priced stuff, half the store is up to 20$. More variety is better I guess

Very good selection of items very by store they have a good plant selection and cacti selection the store is cleaning the staff is helpful and they have great deals

99 Cents store is a fantastic place to buy fruits and vegetables. I'm saving a lot of money by not shopping at the regular grocery store.

Pretty busy.stocked pretty well. The lines are absurd. They have 1 checker 10 ppl in line an employess chit chatting while the line moves slowly

I've always found good deals at this location and The 99 in general. I've purchased plants, star wars things and garden things. Once in a while I'll get snacks and produce. You just have to be extra cautious with the food dates. Today, I bought a bunch of avocados (2.99/bag).

It's good value for ordinary things and some cheap foods! The one cashier is clearly overworked though with a big line by himself at 4-5pm in the afternoon on a Saturday!

Good prices, now that they are not forced to have 1 dollar for all items, the selection is much better

Only 1 of my 7 items was ACTUALLY. 99¢. Perhaps they should think about changing the name. I was considering buying a plant, however it was $7.99 & VERY thirsty. Not sure if it'll live through the weekend. I was sad to leave it in their carless (or just too busy) hands. Life should be a precious choice not something forced & then NEGLECTED.

I was disappointed to see that the store is actually pricing items higher than the grocery stores. Milk is higher than the grocery store. The individual salads is $3.99, higher than the grocery store. That's not inflation, that's just plain price gouging. These stores are supposed to be about saving people Money, hence the name of the store, instead if the shopper isn't careful they can end paying in the long run. I ended buying an expired Lemonade ar full price on June 7th because I wasn't paying attention. It was dated June 6th. My bad.

99 cent store saves me lots of money at least 3 times per week.example, just bought 4 containers of whey protein which goes for more than $35.00 bucks on any other store, just paid "$5.00 / container.

Found things I don't find at other 99c stores, loved it especially the apple cinnamon crisps

Whiite old lady manager at this store is RACIST! This isn't accusation I'd make unless i believed It was 100% true. She literally just cussed out me and my little brother bc we were taking too long to leave "her store". She said some very disrespectful words I wouldn't even say to my worst enemy. All I can do is never go there and advise my brothers and people of color to do the same.

I really like this 99c store Over the one in Oceanside off mission and the 5.
It's way cleaner, fast paced cashiers and friendly too.
The produce is fresh (quick snacks)
They have beautiful decorations that are beyond random, that you'll find in like a hobby lobby type store.
Party supplies can be a little scarce but the party store next to it is perfect for what you need and the ice cream joint next to the party store is a great treat to bring to a party too?

All prices END in 99¢, but a lot of things are now more than 99¢. You have to look closely at each item to see if there's another little price sticker on there that said "amazing value" with the actual price. That being said, they do have a lot of cool stuff at low prices. I go there for specific items, like Western Bagels.

Everything is great there. For the most part. Everything that isn't produce, is good and fair prices. Produce is just one thing you have to eat within 2-5 days of purchase. Fruit says good for a couple weeks. Vegetables are going to need to eaten soon.
