99 Cents Only Stores, National City CA

I would say cheap prices were sacrifice for a service but I've been too many 99 cent stores I've never seen one run so poorly we attached photo is a typical experience long lines under staff. Stuff that is available is always in the isles doing mostly nothing. I would recommend a different store

Lots of changes most notably the increase of prices almost overnight. Another thing is not enough cashiers. This is very busy location (National City)

One of the few remaining 99 cent stores that still had reasonable prices. They have a very large selection of hard to find items too.

Only thing I dislike is that they may not have something the next time you go. I usually buy one item of something I'm not sure about and when I go back to stock up it's nowhere to be found.

Few items are over 1.25 but most items are way up to average of a regular store.
I stop shopping at this stores since prices went up.

I always find things I didn't know I needed. But if I were to buy the same things at another store, I'd be paying a lot more. I go here first for grocery's. Store is neat, they don't move things around. And the prices are much cheaper than even Walmart.

Definitely need to change the name. Most of the items are now $1.99/$2.99/$4.99.otherwise it's a very large store and very clean

Always packed I'm surprised no one has caught COVID yet no mask required people bumping into other people not enough employers for all the locations angry upset workers over worked cause not enough helpers to run the registers its a place I dread to go. They way the workers feel I see there face in happy run down and that's how I feel after being around them most of them don't speak English another thing all 99 cent stores have in common you should be able to speck the language if you're going to work in America when we go to your country you expect us to speak Spanish all the time

This store is very well stocked. It has everything. However something's are overpriced, you can get some of this stuff for less than 99 cents at Walmart and they have way too much stuff now that is NOT 99 cents. They should change the name to "Used to be 99 Cents Only Store".

They need customer service all of them stores always trash always they have one checker it seems the company dont want to pay employees and their managers they just dont care HORRIBLE HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

Always happy to visit ️ the 99 cent store, everyone knows that everything is Chinese and not the best of quality, but because of the price it's worth it.
I can not do shopping without it, that is why I love it.

Things are moved around for the best.more organized.lines aren't long they open registers now if lines are long before you could sit in line a hour.
