99 Cents Only Stores reviews
28It's great. But they should change the name to 99 cents plus since everything is not 99 cents only anymore
This locations is for the most part stocked with everything you need. Whenever I'm in the area (Lomita), this is my go to 99 cent store.
The store and company are so bad now, they have raised prices 200% to a 1000% on a lot of items, Also the triple the price on hand sanitiser during this pandemic definitely not cool I will not be going other stores anymore
I have been shopping at the 99-er since the 90's (Yes, I am old) and I am always surprised at what I find.
I do miss the days of ONLY 99 cents. But with Dollar General and Dollars tree on the rise, 99 had to change to compete.
So I do not fault them for that.
Give this place a shop.
Love this store! Produce is fresh & usually plentiful.
The remodel on the store really made shopping easier for a disabled person like me! Thanks!
What can I say this particular 99 Cent Store don't have much they're always out of something I used to go there to get my cranberry juices but nowadays they're always out pretty dirty only run in there if I absolutely have to but I rather go to another one in a different location.
They have good stores next to it like a big lots and a pizza place in the plaza red west pizza
I love the options and current trendy crafted/decorative/seasonal items they have in the store BUT I am EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED that they aren't truly the 99 Cents Only Store. They have made more room for higher priced/larger items and less room for the 99 cent items. I can see offering that type of stuff during Christmas but things have gone too far.
Was able to find most of the items needed. The problem came at the cashier. There were only two, and each line had more than 10 people.
Never fails this location on P. CH.always has only 2 cash registeres open and a long line of people waiting to check out on both. Bad customer service.
Management is getting worse at managing the size of the checkout lines. Cashiers do not have rights to cancel purchases which caused us a 10 minute wait in line while the cashier (s) called for assistance MULTIPLE times using the codewodrds 99 on checkout 6. Turns out manager was on a "lunch break" and did not give anyone rights to cancel a checkout or clear a misscanned item while she was out.
This store has War merchandise than any of the other stores that I've visited in this area. It's also conveniently located next to Big Lots and a nice thrift store Alpine attic I think it's called. So you can get several kinds of shopping done while you are parked there. There is a rather large produce section and also usually lots of fresh bread items in addition to all the normal things. They also seem to carry more Frozen items than some of the other stores including ice cream
There is always only one cashier open and the line gets super long almost all the way back to the fridge.
Not a lot of variety. It's tight, busy, and unorganized. There were 3 cashier lines with at least 5 people in line. They could have opened another cashier
Lots of parking, and produce section has improved the quality of its fruits and vegetables. The prices are good for all kinds of things and it's hard to leave without buying something,
Great rating, nonetheless always seem to be short-staffed. Which brings me to conclude long lines almost every time I've been with one register open. Staff attitudes are always pleasant.
The stores, are clean and well stocked. The canned goods and vegetables sections are a good of a good variety. Often you are pleasantly surprised by the inexpensive items you find there
Typical 99 cents store, long lines though
durin noon hours, should deploy a 3rd checker
during busy hours.
This store had a good selection of items. Their season items (Halloween decor) was better than most dollar stores.
