99 Ranch Market reviews
31This store is well stocked. It gets 3 stars because compared to other local Asian markets its pretty pricy. I usually go to this store only when on the way to somewhere, because its convenient.
This is where you can find rare spices, foods and lots of meat! I think it also has a majority of Asian spices.
I love 99 Ranch no matter which location but I just happen to be in Fremont this time. Everything you need in an Asian market.
It's one of my favorite market.
You get international food items and they are really fresh and of good quality.
The staff at this place is so lazy and rude they will never ever help you out even if you die in front of them all they will say we don't know anything such a shame they running such a big store and they don't have the well experienced staff to help the customers half of the items on shelves are unlabeled or written in Chinese so you cannot figure it out.
Smaller, older ranch 99 store. You can still get evrything you need, but selections are more limited.
This location is one of several in the 99 Ranch chain. It's a well-known Asian-oriented food market, but it does stock a lot of the other staples from dairy, to veggies, to pastries, etc. The biggest complaint about this particular location is the parking situation, which can be tight - particularly on a Saturday afternoon.
Too employee don't speak English and apparently they don't care to help you. Typical Asian grocery
This Ranch store is better than the store in Newark. I like the selection of the produce and the meats more. This store is slightly smaller, but they have a pretty good selection and they are able to pack a lot of items into the store.
The best thing I like in this place is the freshness of their fruits. Affordable and fresh, meaning you can notice that they regularly reflenish this section. Also the cashier are very polite. Awesome!
Some checkers here make you feel unwelcome. They barely look at or talk to the customers. I felt like I was bothering them shopping at Ranch 99. Did they even get trained in customer service before they started working there? Does the management care? I wonder.
A large variety of fresh seafoods for your selections. They even offer a clean and deep fried your fish free of charge. Not so sure sure what the fuss is all about by some people. I came here to buy foods, not for chatting with the checkout counter people, hence found the check out service fine!
Much cleaner and much more organized than most other similar markets. Great produce. Good prices on quality meats. Great food selection. Hot food counter. Awesome
Excellent place to do some shopping with the kiddies too. Though they may get distracted with all the selections of Asian snacks. I was passing by the hot deli section once and saw that there was some sort of cooking class for kids. They were wrapping their own zong zi. I think this is such a great program for the kids and their parents to do together. I love that 99 ranch is creating a community for them while still educating them about food and culture!
Chinese market for food items.
Good variety. Not expensive.
Pleasant Chinese staff.
Faily large.
Very cluster, one can't walk freely but have authentic Asian merchandise. It also has food court that one can buy ready made dishes. When close to closing time, any unsold dishes will be combined into boxes and sell for nothing. It's a good buy but one just doesn't know what's in the box.
This market is owned by Taiwan people. It is upscale, good products and very friendly service. You will not get bad products over there. This is decent Taiwan business ethics. Buy with confident.
If you are looking for fresh seafood, this is the place to go. Super fresh and loads of variety fish. You get most of the fish that you eat in India. They clean it and cut it as per your requirement. They also have a Chinese kitchen, with a menu with a lot of things. I visit it whenever I need to buy seafood, highly recommend it.
One star is for their catering service.
I ordered 60 egg rolls in a party tray. Not only they did not get the order ready in time, but the egg rolls were very very soggy. It ended up none of my Guests ate any of those. Never order catering from them. Waste of money.
