A-G Sod Farms, Selma CA

Alberto from A-G Sod Farms was operating a forklift at 6am in our neighborhood. We let him know that the Fresno city noise ordinance says that heavy machinery should not be used in residential areas until 7am. He was very rude and refused to stop. It's unfortunate when businesses refuse follow the laws or to respect the communities they are operating in.

Lucy in the office was very helpful. When we arrived to pick up our order of sod we were greeted by a man before we entered the office. Our pallet was loaded quickly and we were on our way home in less than 10 minutes! Our new sod was moist, green, and looks beautiful in place!

Not dependable delivery time. Said 3 to 4 arrived before 2: 45. Screwed up our plans to deal with their fragile sod by having it moved closer to site. They don't care jerks would have appreciated a call.

I had sod delivered 6 months ago, and because of fruit tree overhang I had shady spots that didn't grow. Wondering how I should re-seed, I called AG Sod, who referred my info to the rep who sold my bermuda blend. Within an hour Alec was telling me on the phone exactly how to fill and regrow the lawn's dead spots, and he was exceptionally knowlegable, even referencing his own projects as a knowledge base. AG has a great backbone in their suppliers, and I would definitely but again.

I use A-G sod for all the landscaping jobs i do great quality no complains beautiful sod doesnt matter which one you pick its all healthy and green

Talked to a staff member who was attentive to my needs and let me know they didn't have the sod I was needing but would have available in a couple weeks.

It was a pleasant experience to me until today. This was the second time I came by here to pick-up an order with them. I came in today to pick-up 720 sq ft of sod which I put an order in back on April 29,2021. I was given an order no. And a pick up day on 05/07/2021. This is a little bit difficult for me because I have to coordinate and rent a trailer with Uhaul the day before the pick up. So today 05/07 I came in early like the first time at 0820. I was told there is no pick up order for my name or order no. I was told to call the the office to talk to someone about. I did I called their office and I was told I missed my pick up because I was suppose to pick up my order on April 28, on a Wednesday. I was like, huh! I ordered on 04/29 how can I pick up the day before I made the order. I said, I will not leave here until I get my sod or you give me my refund. I was told I can pick-up tomorrow. I was like excuse me No! Anyways, I left and hopefully my refund gets credited. I will never order from this company again. It was their mistake and they should have got me my Sod that day. But instead they keep saying it was my fault. Huh lol!

I purchased about 4 palets full of celebration bremuda. I didnt have any issues with the sod at all. Deliverery was on time. Alec went above and beyond. Great customer service great price! Look no further.

Easy to estimate what you need for your yard. Along with helpful hints and suggestions to help establish your new lawn. Delivered at approx 0200 with 1500 sq ft, no complaints, repeat customer

I purchased sod from this company in Selma l paid around $75 for delivery I was told it would be delivered around 4: 30 in the morning the sod showed up around 9: 45 I was very disappointed because the information crew was already gone and I had to pay them anyway and the sod it was not put down until the next morning and I pay them again
I called the company to complain about it and they didn’t like it they ended banned my from buying again from them

Very pleased with A G Sod. I had a lot of questions and they were answered with such a nice demeanor. I ordered celebration Bermuda, and got it delivered the day I chose which was 3 days after I ordered. The receptionist gave me a delivery window and not an exact time (understandable). My ring camera captured the delivery at 5: 00am Wednesday morning. Huge truck came and a fork lift carefully brought my pallet with my beautiful SOD right to my drive way like I requested. Let me tell you, this grass was beautiful and moist, not soggy or dry. It’s thick and dark green! Rolled out beautifully. It’s been almost 2 weeks and when I tug a corner it feels completely rooted. I’m holding off on cutting it until it’s more established. I did my research and my husband and I think we did a great job preparing our soil and the installation. I couldn’t be more pleased.

3 times I called and told them details about the job, location and to confirm the price. So imagine my surprise when I confirm the order and the delivery fee goes from a reasonable $250 to $600.
Incompetent is an suitable description for this company.

I was able to call them on Saturday same day it was deliverd and they moved it for me. They were very apologetic and on the spot i have changed my review to 5 stars and will recommend them to anyone great sod layed easy! Just reach out to them if there is an issue and they will fix it!

I ordered sod for delivery on Saturday morning in kern. I am doing this project myself so I asked to have the sod deliverd to the back yard and the person accpting the order informed me the driver would need me to sign a form to release liabilitie, I was fine with that and i ordered. I get up at 06: 30 and all 6 pallets are on the front yard and no driver around or call attempted.
