A Plus Dental Care

When I moved to Sacramento I thought I’d never find a dental practice that I liked as much as my previous dentist on the east coast. For awhile I flew back for appointments, then my old dentist retired. After I neglected my teeth too long I read reviews and found A Plus Dental. At my first appointment I knew the practice was exactly what I hoped for: skilled professionals who are efficient, and well organized. What I’ve found with subsequent appointments is they have their patients’ best interests in mind; they ask about your goals and priorities for dental work, they identify problems and issues, then suggest which are higher priority needs and which can wait.

They offer dental insurance that covers 100% of routine care with significant discounts on the costs of other dental work. The value of the included visits and cleanings far exceeds the cost of the premiums.

Besides their skill and professionalism they are delightful to work with. I actually enjoy going to the dentist.

I only give this place two stars because the hygienist was awesome she really did a great job cleaning and my children's teeth otherwise it would be a 1 * I am not satisfied with the services provided I was given estimates for an implant that would have only been $300 out of pocket after my insurance pay the other mm but when I got to the counter to pay my co-pays that is when the receptionist hit me with oh we need to send you to our Roseville location to see the specialist and they just charged a little bit more but will email you an estimate of what the difference will be that was on Friday I never got the estimate I called back on Monday I was again told that I would get a message with an estimate never got the estimate call back on Tuesday only to find out it would be a $600 out-of-pocket cost after I was told 300 and somebody tells you a little bit different pricing you don't think it's going to be double I also had a bad experience with the dentist because I previously had dental work through Rancho Cordova Dental and the dentist there had smacked my front tooth with his tool and left an indentation which cause discoloration when I tried explaining that to the dentist at A Plus Dental he argued with me and told me that it was erosion acidic things but I know exactly what happened because when it happened it was so traumatizing I hadn't been to a dentist in 2 years so not only is a plus Dental dishonest they fill their opinions more valid then actual facts

I appreciated the quality & quick work. Signed up for yearly after Summer cleaning (monthly pre-pay) for Winter cleaning. So there would be no bill, so I thought. I called to use it, mind you, "PRE-PAID", they said SORRY! ITS EXPIRED! (I PAID DOUBLE for 1cleaning!) Never going back! NOW, go "PAY"
ALL OVER AGAIN FOR WHAT I A"PAID FOR". Color me Red & ANGRY. RUN!

Well located, awesome feont desk support, dentist and dental assistants. I am a sensitive patient and they do their best to be gentle.

Overall a great experience. From the first visit to the last, all staff were friendly, joyful and better yet knowledgeable. I was very satisfied with the services I received. I highly recommend this professional group.

I haven’t been to the dentist in almost 2 years and was super nervous about my cleaning. My dental hygienist, Mary was awesome. I told her that I’ve been slacking in the flossing department and she did not judge me. The entire process was great. I felt like she spent extra time cleaning my teeth (maybe cuz I needed it lol). I left with my teeth feeling nice and clean. My exam was also very thorough. Dr. Dean answered all my questions and concerns I had. I also inquired about getting Invisalign and they were also able to give me a quote. It’s so convenient to have an office that also does orthodontics! Overall, the entire the staff was super nice. I’m definitely asking for Mary for my next cleaning.

Awesome awesome awesome! Wish I woulda called them sooner. Tooth pain got me in same day, everyone super knowledgeable professional and friendly. Great care, most highly recommend Dr. Dean and A+ Dental to anyone!

Best cleaning & ck up EVER! I have sensitive teeth, and Mary listened & didn't hit a hot stop. (cleaning for me are a nightmare) Mr Lee was supportive & encouraging, making me feel like I was his only patient. Kimberly, the finance lady was helpful laying out plans to accommodate future work. -And Pearl from the front desk, validated my parking and got me out the door in 1hr & 10 minutes! This was a Happy, relaxing dental visit and I recommend them to everyone! Plus, parking IN the buildings garage, BONUS! (That's ON J STREET!)

Welcoming and friendly staff. Office manager, Pearl always makes sure you are taken care of. Clean, modern facility and the doctor, dental staff, manages your care with excellent detail.

I can’t speak for the A+ Dental Care Group as a whole, but my experience with its J Street location has been extremely good. Considerable time conferring with multiple Midtown dental practices led me to this one. Pearl Abella, its very capable office manager, effectively helped me navigate and coordinate a long anticipated implant procedure. Henry Dean, DDS, is an experienced dentist who is fairly new to Sacramento. I have great respect for a dentist who will honestly assess a situation and thoroughly articulate as it is. My family is grateful for Dr. Dean’s expertise and recent care, and we look forward to working with this team again when dental services are needed.

This is a great Dental office. The people are wonderful. I have been going here for 1+ year and always receive great service and treatment. Pearl is the receptionist/scheduler/billing guru. She is always welcoming and very helpful/informative. Dr. Dean is also very professional does great work. Dental Assistant Sharon is caring and ensures I am comfortable throughout treatment. My Dental care has been wonderful here. I am fortunate to have found this office

I had such a great experience at this dental office. I'm so happy to say i found my new dentist. Henry Dean is very knowledgeable and made me feel very secure that he knew what he was talking about when it came to my dental concerns. I also can say all of his staff are super sweet and make you feel comfortable.

Mary is AWESOME! She does such a great job of cleaning my teeth that I actually look forward to my regular check ups. Pearl at the front desk does an excellent job at making sure I know whats going on with my benefits and what treatment I need scheduled. GO schedule an appointment! You will not be disappointed.
