A Quiet Place Floatation Spa reviews
22Jackie @ A Quiet Place Massage is AMAZING! Having nerve pain from a recent knee replacement and Jackie knew just what to do!
A superb place to relax and detox. The pods are roomy and silent and oh so comfortable. The massage was terrific and unkinked my knots gently but effectively. The salt room was just perfect. Richard knows his work and does the best at making sure everything goes smoothly. A true hidden gem.
The first time I ever heard of float therapy was back in 2014 from a friend of mine. Earlier this year my friend jack and revisited the idea of trying out floating. I looked for the best place in my area and discovered A Quiet Place Floatation spa here in San Marcos.
Richard greeted me at the door and gave me a rundown on how we needed to prep before we got into the tank. Richard explained to me about this “drop-in” sensation I would feel after around 30 minutes of being submerged in the water. Like any skeptical college kid, I was like “yeah okay, ” I got in the tank and kept trying to settle but I just wasn’t able to do it. I sat up at least 15 times in the first 30ish minutes of the float (my float was an hour), I could not relax.
The last time I sat up I felt the back of my skull open up and I knew exactly what he was talking about. I couldn’t move for the remainder of the session until the pump turned on which indicated that my time was up. I climbed out of the tank like a newborn baby deer. I couldn’t believe how relaxed I felt, as soon as I showered off and sat back down Richard had poured me a cup of tea and asked me how I felt. I hadn’t been that relaxed in years, and I am not exaggerating. Since that first float session I immediately signed up to float twice a month on a membership basis, and it’s been the best money I have ever spent on myself.
What I love about this flotation spa is two things, one is how clean everything is. Richard makes sure the tanks are good to go before you go into it, there’s always a fresh towel if you forgot one and he wipes the tank down so that the condensation doesn’t drip on your face mid float. The second thing is Richard; he is great about putting you in the right state of mind before you get in and after. He is very knowledgeable about the tank and different forms of meditation you can use inside and outside of the tank.
The tank has been literally life changing for me, I am able to stay calm under stress and for me personally it allows me to analyze tough decisions in my life and make a logical decision.
I have recommended 5 people to go already and every single on of them enjoyed the tank just as much as I did. If you are on the edge about trying this, just do it you won’t regret it. A Quiet Place Floatation spa is not just a regular float spa it is an experience that is unique to this spa alone.
I had a great float at A Quiet Place Flotation Spa. I did a couples float and salt therapy session and it was well worth it. I came out relaxed and refreshed. Richard was great and made the experience amazing from beginning to end.
I feel everyone should at least try floating twice, once you know what to expect it's an amazing experience. It's very personal in the tank. I prefer total sensory deprivation but you can do it with the lid up or down, with or without music / lights. I've already signed up as a monthly member and look forward to going back. I highly recommend this to anyone.
Drove here from downtown San Diego and it was worth it. Had an amazing experience here. Thank you Richard, you’re the master of flotation. Will definitely come back.
If you’ve tried floating you already know that it is amazing. If you haven’t then this is the place to go to try it out. Richard will make you feel right at home and relaxed before you even arrive. The customer service here is beyond amazing. You will not regret your visit!
Richard is the float master. Allow yourself to drift off in the pod for maximum therapeutic benefits. Massage and salt combinations with the float are best. A nice relaxing float awaits all who appreciate a weightless saltty soak
I purchased a massage for my husband with Stacey for his birthday and he said he had never had a massage like that in his life. He showed Stacey his back and she immidiately knew that he was in pain and had a back injury. He felt so good and pain free all day after his massage! He and I both are so pleased with "A Quiet Place" and would recommend to anyone wanting a thorough massage.
My first float and it was awesome. I have fibromyalgia and various other issues & for the first time in ages i do not hurt! Amazing & the owner Richard takes his time to make sure you know what to expect. Looking forward to my next float!
This place is awesome. Was a bit hesitant to try but my friend got it for bday gift. Relaxation and distress was what I got. Thanks, Richard.
I tried the Salt Therapy for the first time. It was wonderful! I have a lingering cough from a cold and the therapy helped dry out my lungs and ease my cough. The space is serene and nicely decorated. I highly recommend!
LOVE this place! I have been floating here for over a year, I recommend it to EVERYONE I know and then some! They have recently added a salt room and it's amazing. It has helped reduce my migraines, allergies and recently cut a cold down by a few days! My favorite is to float then sit in the salt room. I feel so relaxed and detoxed after my float days. Definitely worth getting the membership to both and having self care days at least twice a month!
An amazing experience! Just walking into this place will make your stress of the day disappear.
I tried another floatation spa in Orange County (as a gift) and it did not even compare to a float at A Quiet Place. I definitely recommend going here if you’re looking for a nice place to relax. Richard the owner is absolutely wonderful!
Was looking for a massage place. Picked this one first, based on reviews and ability to book online, and never had to look beyond it. Been going there for well over a year now. I like to mix it up and book with whomever is available, so I've had massages from everyone multiple times. They're all pretty great, each with their own unique styles, and Robin, the owner, is super awesome. She always takes the time to try to connect with you, and she's created a really nice, welcoming, and relaxing space here. I can't see how you could want to go anywhere else.
Awesome place to relax, disconnect, and find some quiet. Great value and customer service. Richard is phenomenally resourceful.
Oh my gosh I just love this place. The owner operator is so knowledgeable and ou a so gracious. If you show an interest to learn more about the history or benefits, he is willing to share his knowledge (time permitting). Went i floated the 1st time i came out feelling so darn relaxed and rested. I look forward to the days that I am scheduled for my float
A calm oasis in San Marcos with friendly and easy going people. I've been seeing Terry for a few months now and she's great: always just the right amount of pressure. Bathroom is clean and water available in the hallway. Parking is free and easy to get in/out of.
If you need to chillax and allow your body to detox and release all stress this is the place to go. Richard is a caring and compassionate person who offers a wonderful experience through his flotation services.
A sensation that must be experienced! My body was so relaxed and ready for my regular therapeutic massage, that made it all the more therapeutic.
