A Slice of New York Pizza reviews
19My favorite pizza joint! New York style thin crust, amazing toppings, good beer and wine selection, and kind staff. It's definitely a vibe inside!
Best pizza I’ve had in a while.
And what a Yankee shrine.
The pizza and the place are both works of art.
Best pizza in California by far. Highly recommend not only is it great value the customer experience is superb. Keyon did a great job at taking care of me and the food was delicious. Can’t wait for my next time in California to have another slice!
The pizza is consistently good. The crust is delightfully crisp. The Margherita is a winner too.

House Signature was on point today; very much on par with great slices I’ve had in Manhattan. The Hawaiian as well; ample pineapple and quality Canadian bacon. My only remaining ask would be that they add a Sicilian to the menu.
Wow! The BBQ Chicken is great. Definitely upping to 4+!
Poor service and for that alone I won't be back. It was that bad. That older gentleman needs a class in etiquette because the pizza isn't that great for there to be this kind of service.
Fantastic gluten free pizza, probably the best I’ve ever eaten out! Had the Margherita and the pepperoni! And what a treat to have gluten free by the slice available! Run don’t walk to this place! So good!
Really yummy New York style thin crust pizza. We had regular cheese and Hawaiian pizzas along with a margherita with gluten free crust and all of them were super delicious!
Disappointing. Pizza did not come out with the rest of our order. Everyone else in our group received their pizzas. I asked our server twice about the pizza and was told it would be out. After everyone was done eating, still NO PIZZA.
I gave up and asked for a refund.
Real NY style pizza crispy thin crust loaded with flavor that I missed from east coast. Even if you reheat on toaster oven crust is still crisp
Great pizza in a real slice of New York. Friendly owner. It's in a small mall and it's not visible from the parking lot. However, it's worth the search. BTW, I'm a NYer.
I've lived in Italy and New York. That being said, I have really high standards when it comes to pizza. You can always judge the quality of a pie by tasting a simple cheese slice. There are no masks to hide behind. The flavor of the sauce, the density and flavor of the crust, the perfect amount of cheese plus the 100% commitment to quality and consistency is why I love this pizza.
A slice of NY Pizza nails all above mentioned requirements. In SoCal real deal pizza is hard to come by.this is my one and only until I move again.
Grazie mille!
Attentive workers, great service. Like the pizza shops I remembered with sports and beer, sponsored little league. Felt welcome there and I live spending my money at mom n pop shops than cold, corporate establishments that cant give you that ambience that a good old neighborhood pizza shop does. Also, they have half price beers on Thursdays! Would recommend and will return.
Nice cozy place we found near home. Reminds me of my younger days when I saw a bunch of highschool baseball players eating lots of good pizza there. Slices are big and yummy.
The service was fast. The restaurant is nice and clean. Even though there is music and several televisions it wasn’t too loud. Very relaxing atmosphere and delicious pizza.
It's a cozy little hole-in-the-wall, mom n' pop kind of place. No bar, but the do have alcoholic beverages available. The pizza is awesome! Very tasty, and of course they have many other items like wings and more, that you'd expect to find at any pizza joint. The service is great, and the staff is friendly.
There are lots of pizza choices to choose from. The pizzas are made with fresh ingredients and have lots flavor.
The pizza was very good but I would not recommend waiting at the "pick-up/takeout" counter for service if you're picking up an order. They will prioritize assisting the customers at the register before you, even if you arrived before anyone else. I stood there for over 5 minutes before getting in line to the register myself as four parties were helped. Between the unnecessary wait for service and the ride home (roughly 14 minutes) the pizza was already lukewarm and eventually cold by the second slice. It was still quite delicious but I would have preferred if it was at least warm.
Love this pizza place. Being from NY and the east coast, my husband and I were told we'd never find great pizza, but this is THE SPOT, and the vibes remind me of back home. Definitely recommend!
