Italian Restaurant A16 reviews
19 I may be biased as I work here but I've also been in the industry for 20 years and worked across the country. A16 is unique and amazing! There are 2 dishes on the menu I don't like. Easiest menu to sell haha!
We are also known for our Southern Italian wines! Affordable and a great little taste of what Southern Italy has to offer!
I was a bit hesitant to try this restaurant as I prefer basic Italian food like spaghetti and meatballs. After ordering a dish I had never tried before I was surprised at how delicious it was. Had pasta with lamb sausage. Wonderful! Will definitely go again next we are in San Francisco.
Was disappointed w the Ragu dish. Tasted like udon noodles w a can of tomato sauce splattered on top. It was like something you’d eat as a poor college student. Overpriced.
I came here for pizzas and I was not disappointed. Their pies are Napoli style with great ingredients combinations. The service is friendly and the place is bustling with life. Looking forward to be back.
Was here to celebrate graduation for my
Son. Enjoyed the food. Super filling and loved every dish. The service is excellent and very accommodating.
Ordered 2 pizzas, only got one.wine was a good pair.food was under-salted, wouldn’t recommend for the prices that they were charging.very underwhelming. Glad I tried it, won’t be going back.
Went to this restaurant because it was highly recommended; my party was disappointed. The pizzas barely had cheese on them and the squid ink pasta had no flavor. Our server was rude and didn't say a word to us when dropping the check. The atmosphere was great but the food was not.
Third visit and first time meeting the owner. What she doesn’t know about Southern Italian wine is probably not worth knowing. Very unassuming and warm lady - which matches the unpretentious restaurant. Sure, I’ve had some better Italian dishes, but it has the whole package here - great food, wine, service and atmosphere. Pizzas were a standout, as was the Berkshire pork.
Food was excellent. Wish they had hard liquor. We sat in the back and were soaking wet in sweat. It was so hot. No ventilation
We were so disappointed by A16. The food was tasteless, and the service was really slow. Part of our meal was Squid Ink Pasta with clams. There was no sauce. So not good. We usually take dessert but not this time. We were 5 people. Only one of us had an ok experience with their food.
Met with a good friend and had a wonderful time! Sat @ the chef counter.service was amazing
Cappuccino here is not good; everything else is beyond amazing. We’ll definitely be coming back a lot
The food is amazing here and the service is one of a kind. I strongly recommend trying them if you want to take the family to somewhere great.
Excellent Pizza and Cannoli!
Highly recommended to go eat something in the afternoon and sit at the tables on the sidewalk
Outstanding pizza in a cool space. Sat at the chef’s bar so had a great view of chef working magic with the wood fired oven.
Top tier date spot in the Marina. Beautiful inside and out.
I tend to avoid the pastas here and think the play is splitting a pizza and salad.
The pizza here is so good. We sat at the “chefs table, ” which was fine. The staff is friendly! The squid ink pasta was mid but the Caesar salad made up for it kind of.
A quite expensive restaurant where unfortunately the ordered pizzas didn't even taste good. Also, it's very noisy there. You can't even have a conversation. The service was very attentive.
