Aaron Schat's Roadhouse, Bishop CA

Good food, fast service. More $$ than typical burger joint but much higher quality. This is now my mandatory stop when traveling through Bishop. Inside and outside seating.

Meh! Mediocre at best. My daughters kids ribs were so dry I couldn’t finish chewing them when trying them to figure out why she didn’t like them. I had to spit it out into my napkin. It was like trying to eat leather. My ceasar salad was extremely basic and my husbands inyo mouth burger was mostly bun with an okay taste. Won’t return and wouldn’t recommend.

When in Bishop CA you must stop in and enjoy the signature BBQ ribs clean friendly staff accessible for people with restrictions right on main st plenty of parking

The gal behind the counter took phone calls while we all waited. Why can’t they have two at the counter during busy times? Management get on that.

I got Fish and chips was like eating rubber.
Defiantly freezer burned tilapia and old over salted fries $15 inedible. I ate my boyfriends other hafe is sandwich bbq beef was good.
Sodas were flat. Guess it was just not a good day to eat here.

Had a chicken club sandwich, fantastic. I will go back soon. Lots of bbq choices. Nice selection of beers on tap. Very helpful and friendly staff.

I had the regular cheeseburger and some fries. Let me tell you, this burger has absolutely ruined other burgers for me now. The meat was juicy and flavorful. The fried onions and special sauce went perfectly with the nicely toasted bun. The fries had a wonderful crisp to them, and even when they got somewhat coldish, they were STILL good. Kids had the fish and chips, and those were decent.

Great people working there. Food was delicious. My son loved his veggiterian option. Said it was one of the best burgers he had.

This place has the best sweet potato fries I've ever had! I got the shotgun burger, it was the best, juicy with loads of flavor like it was cooked on a charcoal grill. When you walk in, grab a menu walk to the front place your order, they give you a table number and drop off the food. Plenty of parking. It looks like they also have live entertainment! I'll go back for the Burgers! Or even try the ribs.

I should have paid more attention to the few customers. We have come here before and loved it. But this time was a disappointment. While ordering with the cashier, my wife asked a question. A waitress passing by chimed in with an abrasive tone and really caught us off guard. We dismissed that and went ahead with our order. The card machine asked if we wanted to leave a tip. We decided to wait on this until we saw how the service was. When the food came my wife asked for more ranch…. Never came. My Reuben sandwich, which I have enjoyed in the past, was not only overcooked, it was like a sponge of grease. It went everywhere! The coleslaw was tasteless. The onion rings and fries were under done and beyond greasy. I wish we went somewhere else.

Giving them a 5 star for service and food quality.

We had a large group of 16 and they were very accommodating.

Will definitely make this a stop when I’m in town again.

Had the Shotgun Burger and sweet potato fries which really hit the spot after a long roadtrip. The burger and sauce was delicious, the fresh baked cheese roll really made it special. Highly recommend!

Definitely worth the stop. Had the hot shot burger. Me and the wife shared it. They even cut it for us. Burger was medium as promised

I changed my review, the other one wasn't fair. Nothing bad happened. I thought other places had better BBQ.

"Lovelier the second time around" is so appropriate for Aaron Schat's Roadhouse. We've been here a few times already and each time is a wonderful experience! Their rotisserie chicken was so delectable, the steaks cooked to perfection and my favorite side dishes of lime rice and corn are so delicious. The staff are friendly and gives fair treatment to all races especially Asians, and the place mainly the bathroom is clean. Can't wait to eat here again!

Best burgers from coast to coast. Nice, relaxed atmosphere. Kind employees who seemed to enjoy being there. Delicious food!

Love this place. Quick service and the Gobbler Turkey sandwich and the cheese kickers (deep fried string cheese) are amazing

Decent burger. Fries are an add-on for $2.95. I got a bluecheese burger, not the best bluecheese burger i've had but it's decent. Burgers are not very big but i enjoy the convenience of this place, queue to order, sit with your number card and folks at aaron schat's will bring your order to you.

Was not sure what to expect and was pleasantly surprised. Service was great and they had live music. Food was top notch. The quality and taste was excellent. Also got a pitcher of beer and that only made things better.
