Honestly did not have the best experience moving out. I still haven’t received my deposit and it’s been 60 days. I requested for a walk through the day I went in to give in my 30 day notice, and management agreed to reach back out to plan a day or go over details I assumed. Never once did I hear from Abby Creek Apartments. I called on one of my last days to figure out where I would drop the key off and when I would be hearing back from them for a walk through since it was going to be New Years weekend, the guy that answered was covering for Nancy so he tried to reassure me that I would hear back from the office after the weekend. Weeks go by and my forwarding address is still being asked for as I didn’t write it down for them on my notice, and also sent emails. My deposit that they calculated after dismissing my request to walk through was then sent back to my Abby Creek apartment? As if I would be able to get it from an address I was moving away from? It wasn’t till Feb 14th that I was back to sac after moving out of state and went to ask about my deposit that I found out that they some how didn’t have my forwarding address. I was then led on a wild goose chase to the mail box and post office by Nancy thinking I would be able to find it. Apparently it got sent back and a new check was reissued back shortly after. It’s now, March 1,2023, a few weeks has gone by and still no deposit check in my name. I just think it’s very unfair and unprofessional how they handled me. They deducted money from what I would be getting back that I just could not agree with but since they went against my request to walk through with them it is valid? I have videos of my clean apartment that I returned. No accountability was taken, and they still have my money and corporate is ignoring my emails. At this point it is very drawn out and inconsiderate and I hope this can help anyone.

We weren't able to view our unit right away, there was a family in the process of moving out. We walked the complex & and saw virtual tours. We finally saw our apartment tonight and it was exactly as shown through the online photos and the virtual tour. Nancy (property manager) was really helpful and understanding when it came to our autistic son as well. Through probably the busiest time of year, she got us in just in time. We're SO excited to make our new apartment home:)

Our move in process was very simple & easy thanks to Nancy! Everyone at Abby Creek is very kind and helpful. We had a minor maintenance issue and had to call during evening time and the maintenance supervisor, Irma, came straight away to help us out. We felt bad for having her come so late, but she was very nice and and made sure that we knew it was no big deal. We’ve had nothing but great experiences here!

It’s been a great experience so far. Wasn’t able to see the apartment before moving in which is a knock but was impressed with the layout and set up of the apartment when moving in. Maintenance is responsive and efficient. Overall a good experience.

My move-in process was made easy by Nancy and Melanie. I found a couple of small issues during the move and they provided a prompt response and resolution. I’m looking forward to enjoying the time at Abby Creek Apartments with my daughter.

First of all I just want to say… Mrs. Gwen I LOVE YOU SO MUCH! Second, this was the easiest move in process EVER. I’m so happy to call this place home. Thank you for everything ️

Same as others have said. Moved out, the woman didn't do a walk thru and said just put the keys in the box, which we did. Took pics and video and they said the walkway when you first enter had some wear and tear from walking in/out, so they said we had to pay over 1400 to replace all the carpet in the apartment. Never gave us the option or opportunity to hire someone to clean NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR on the carpet. She left a message saying if we didn't come up with 1400, we would be sued and we also didn't get our deposit back on top of being out the money. We called and had to negotiate a payment plan and the woman lied and said she walked through with us and it was "baaaad, " but the pictures said otherwise. The management company (corporate) reduced the 1,400, but no deposit. That makes 8 people we knew, that moved out, told wear and tear was excessive, and had to replace the entire carpet for the entire apartment. They also tried to ding us for not cleaning under the stove top.which apparently never got done, even though they said it would be cleaned. The first woman we moved in with quit a few months after we moved in and she was the one that didn't follow through on the initial cleaning. This carpet thing is a scam. The lawsuit threats are ridiculous, and this isn't the only property that management managed (other apartments in other states all complaining about this same scam, ESPECIALLY if the people had pets and paid a higher deposit). Deposits taken and threatening to sue if you didn't come up with the money (in OUR case.) in 24hrs.

Currently hunting for apartments. Found this place and loved the area/complex! Drove ny and checked it out, office was closed when they clearly say they are open. I call and leave a voicemail about the interest in 1 of the 4 available units. They call back 4 days later to tell me that all of the units were rented out as of yesterday. I am a little confused about the concept of me having $$ in hand and clearly telling these places I want to put a deposit asap and come check it out yet they choose to call me AFTER they rent out all the units. I can understand if the other people were in line first but according to the lady on the phone it was pretty much too bad so sad but I can join their waiting list. Have not lived here but it seems like this place offers discounts for a reason. They have people leaving with short notice during their lease probably because how things are handled at the property.
