Don’t work with them. I have no idea what meth these other reviewers are smoking, but these people have no clue what they are doing. They literally make you do all of the work. After dealing with them, I could become a better broker than them since I did everything. Don’t waste your time or money.

It was my first time importing and May made me feel at ease! She was very informative with the entire process and has helped me with all the questions I had. With her expertise and 20+ years of experience, there’s nobody else I would trust to help me with my future imports. Thank you so much and we’ll definitely do business again!

Very surprised at positive reviews. Be wary if you're seeking professional communicators. The initial contact was great and the team was friendly and informative, but the team at Ability could and will cease communication with no notice or explanation and with having copies of sensitive documents; most unprofessional on client side. The wish-wash website design spoke volumes for their focus on quality of service had I went with my gut instinct. Not recommended.

We have nothing to do with an 'Alejandro' who is a 'first responder' and because we had a fallback plan our imports were never touched by Ability - thankfully. The response from the company is completely unrelated to our interaction and to ride on the back of this pandemic with a visceral comment that may or may not be true replying to an honest negative review speaks even more volume on their business style. I recommend to avoid this group at all costs.

Ability Customs is the best! Ten years ago we switched to Ability Customs for all of our brokerage needs and we'll never go back to the 'other guys'. Ability has repeatedly helped us with all of our importing needs. No reason to go anywhere else. Great service, great communication, they always stand by their customers!

The staff at Ability Customs Brokers were exemplary in their service and communication. I had a vehicle shipped from Europe and the owner/operator of Ability by the name of May guided me through the entire process from port entry to getting me set up with trucking and taking care of all customs documentation. Carrie and the girls in the office were always on top of everything that was going on and keeping me in touch.

May and her team are the best. I was waiting for a shipment that was gonna take 30 days from China and I honestly thought that I wouldn't make it. May did everything in her power to make sure that I had my shipman one day before my event. Had it not been for May, I would have lost $50,000. To this day, I only use Ability Custom Brokers. Because I know my shipment is going to be here on time. I don't have to worry about paperwork, I don't have to worry about customs, I don't have to worry about transportation. All my worries are taken care of by May. When she gives me advice about my shipping request, I trust her 100%.

If there were more stars, I would have given it to May at Ability Customs Brokers. She was so kind, explained everything including what to expect and what needs to be done. In spite of the fact that we were not business people and it was only a personal shipment. I will recommend them very highly to anyone who needs Customs brokers. May, THANK YOU!

May is GREAT to work with! This is our 2nd time using them and they handle all the paperwork and all we needed to do was follow her instructions and everything went VERY SMOOTHLY when it came to picking up our items at the Port of Oakland. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED company and people:)

Superior Customer Service I'm beyond amazed, they want to help in anyway! Ability customs with May and her staff has been more than outstanding. They go out of their way to get the job done (call you, email you) if your missing paperwork even during time sensitive documents. Example, I forgot to update my credit card with Fish&Wildlife and my shipment had already arrived (live fish). F&W wouldn't clear it without getting paid first, so May with her fast acting customer service, paid the F&W agency herself so the process would't be delay or worst, end up with lost dead fish. She is outstanding and her staff as well. Give them a try and you will forever be a loyal client!

Blown away by the service. This place is great! I was nervous about ordering direct from overseas, but May made it as easy as ordering from Amazon.
