I had an absolutely great experience with purchasing a tug from A/C Air Technology. From the first phone call to get some information to the the tug arriving and being used immediately - the whole process was really unbelievable. Britney was so knowledgeable and helpful getting me all the information I needed to purchase a tug. If all companies operated at this level the world would be a much better place to do business with. 5 stars really are not enough they rank at 6 or above!

Having both a tailwheel aircraft and a nose wheel aircraft I was looking for something that would move both. The AC tractor fit the bill to a tee. With its low profile, I was able to get under the elevator to reach the tailwheel. This was the only tug I found that could do all that in one unit.

I have the T1V2 tug and it is amazing! It pulls my fully loaded 182 across wet uneven grass without missing a beat. I fly off a grass strip and there is only about 5 ft of concrete before you hit grass in front of the hangar and I live in a very wet climate. I had previously tried other tugs and they struggled on the wet grass. The T1V2 makes it easy for me to get my plane out of the hangar alone and go fly any time I want AND put my plane up when I’m done without any help. This thing is a beast!

We use our tug daily and it is equally adept at moving a P210 as it is a light sport and a backcountry equipped Cessna. My only regret is I didn't have one of these years ago.

I purchased a T1V2 a few months back to maneuver our RV-10 on slightly sloped pavement. The tug “opens up” the parking area as I am getting older and not as willing to risk getting stuck and having to start up the airplane’s engine to move it. Besides, as an engineer I like to think that engineers make life easier with all kinds of inventions. I believe AC Technology’s critical thinking and inventions are second to none regarding the engineering of their tugs. My tug is mid-size but it is beefy in strength. I very quickly learned to maneuver and felt comfortable with my tug in a few sessions, allowing me to take my eyes off of it and walk around the airplane while moving it. The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful with answering questions. Someone always answers the phone. Britney was attentive to emails even during busy times such as Airventure. Tracy did the same, tackling technical issues that I had while setting up the tug for the first time. The logistics department worked superbly, from answering the phone, taking orders, packaging, to shipping. The only reservation i have are the batteries. Only time will tell. However, I’m sure engineering is all over it. I love my tug. It is an engineering marvel and It was my early Christmas present!

Tug works amazing! Customer service (Britney) is awesome! Met all our expectations, was easy to assemble and learn. Very well built. Pulls our PA31, Seneca, Duke and 421C with ease.

Anthony makes awesome products and backs them up. I have three of his tugs and his Lithium GPU. All work great and do a super job. It is way easier and safer to use his remote control tugs than the alternative.

I use the AC Air Technology T1V2 Compact Tug to move my Glasair Sportsman 2+2 on Clamar Floats around. It works great! It's especially helpful when moving over the sliding hangar door tracks. I highly recommend it to all my pilot friends!

I have two AC tugs which I regularly use to single-handedly to get our Harvard & Stearman out of the hanger.
Be lost without it!

Without my T1V2, I would be unable to get my Stearman in or out of my hangar here in Australia. Every time I use it I wonder why I did not get it many many years earlier.
Funny thing, as I age, it seems that my Stearman is getting heavier and heavier? I am now able to go flying at anytime without needing to ask anyone for help. The staff at AC Air Technology, in particular Britney, are a delight to deal with. If you haven’t got an AC Air Technology tug, you don’t know what you are missing. They are an absolute must have.

This tug is great for moving my Pacer in and out of the hangar. The Pacer is on bush wheels with a baby bush tailwheel and with the adjustability of the tug there are no issues interfacing with the lager tire on the tailwheel. It’s so nice to be able to walk around the airplane while moving it to ensure wingtip and tail clearances. Also, it allows you to move the airplane further back into a corner or closer to a wall versus a manual tug or other powered tugs that require space behind or in-front (nose wheels) of the plane in order to attach the tug. One con: it is fairly loud when moving.

I've been using the T1-X2 for a year now with flawless, excellent results. Having the remote control unit is a must-have, as it permits me to easily check all-around clearance without having to constantly interrupt aircraft movement. It easily handled this TBM850! Does a great job with my Super Cub too!

I purchased a T1.7 for my Piper M600 couple of months back. It is working great so far. It has enough power to handle a slight incline and able to get out and in. Since it is a remote operated tug, I can walk around while moving the aircraft to make sure I have enough clearance on both sides of the hangar. I would highly recommend this to anyone considering a new remote operated tug.
