Parking is $35/day on 3rd and 4th level of parking garage. About stay: Short stay for work. 2 things in room needed attn (missing coffee pot and couldn't switch from rainfall shower to handheld) but i had no energy to make request. The hotel was walking distance to many eateries and to my workplace so can't complain. My room was nice, simple and crispy clean. Thanks

This is a new hotel but has issues. Elevator doors are the loudest Motors I can recall hearing in an elevator. The first room I had the refrigerator was exceptionally loud to the point you can hear it from outside the room with the door closed. Second room they moved me to the refrigerator is also loud and does not cool at all. Heat did not work the first night and temp in room got down to 63. Location is decent.

This hotel is great because they give concessions to returning visitors! I'm blown away by the assistance they've received! It's a definite must-try! I'd like to return to this place!

Checked in for 2 nights. No welcome at check-in or acknowledgment of our titanium elite status (which I could care less about that, but we’re used to other hotels thanking us for our business & always offered a welcome gift or extra points). Was given our room which we went to and walked inside to find a messy bed and used towels in the bathroom. Returned to the lobby to acquire another room. Given an upgrade, however this room was worse - AC/Heater not working. Tried to call the desk, but the phone was not working. Went back to the lobby & clerk said to remove panel to reset it. Tried that & it did not work. Also, the TV kept turning off on its own after 5mins on. Back to the lobby- 3rd room, still an upgrade, finally everything was in working order but no fans & room was so quiet you heard all of the highway & street noise all night long. Next day, went out to breakfast & returned to hotel to find our keys would not open the main door to get in & we had a long wait to get into the front door. Observed a few other guests struggling with other issues in the lobby too. Positive: Bed was comfortable & the room we stayed in was very clean. Unfortunately, we’ll not return to this hotel again: -/
UPDATE: We checked out & were credited back a bulk of our points plus given free parking. Clerk said most staff had been laid off due to pandemic. I feel this hotel will not make it, sadly. It could be amazing w/good management:)

My car got broken into while staying at this location. The employee on duty had nothing to say but, “we don’t own the parking garage. ” They don’t own the garage but they’ll happily charge you $35 a night to park there and have signs guiding you to park there and “hotel parking signs. ” An influx in car breaking should be transparent to all guests so they can be aware.

Highly recommended hotel! My friends and I had our stay at this hotel a week ago. We were so happy and satisfied with the overall services that they offered. The staves were so friendly and courteous, and I thanked them for that. Huge thanks to all of you! Until next time, guys!

Great hotel in the heart of downtown San Jose! The staff are attentive and professional, and rooms are held to a high standards of care.

Overall had a pretty nice experience. There were a few hiccups which were for the most part corrected. Here's my pros and cons.
Pros- very clean hotel, very nice customer service. The double king suite was awesome. Spacious open floor plans, with minimalist japanese style decoration. Cons - due to Covid restrictions, the pool is only open via reservations. They messed up our swim reservations on both days we were there. Luckily all the time slots were not filled and they were able to rectify the situation by moving us to another time slot and gave us a little extra time. Our heater seemed to not work at all. We were told that it operates based on movement, which sounded kind of weird. Essentially if there are people in the room but not moving the heater may not turn on.that didn't seem to be the case. Eventually someone from the front desk came to our room and reset the thermostat.which also didn't fix the situation. We were told if we got too cold that we can exchange to a different room. Luckily we didn't have to do so. My biggest complaint though is the walls are paper thin. I heard when ever any of the rooms next to us turned on a sink or flushed a toilet all day and night. We also had a seemingly very large party up above us. I'm normally not one to complain, but my family were woken up by loud shouting and laughter that sounded as if it was right in our room. I went down at about 145am and filed a formal complaint. Security was sent to the party room and it settled down immediately after that. We were charged $35 per day plus taxes and fees to SELF PARK. In an open garage located next door. Pretty insanely expensive to self park in an unsecured lot if you ask me. Overall I think we had a pretty good experience and may return in the future

Several times I was asked by Michelle why was I checking out. Each time I politely responded; "I'm just checking out". Then she asked for my driver's license. I simply gave it to her. She went on to say that she has never seen me before. Then she said someone yesterday came looking for me. She even repeated/confirmed my name. Yet she never called my room yesterday. Furthermore I stayed at the hotel for over month and on several occasions she made eye contact with me. Wow I never felt so unwanted. I definitely won't recommend this place nor come back. This type of passive-aggressive and/or microaggression behavior is unacceptable. I spoke with the assistant manager about her and he said he will talk with her. She was so wrong holding me hostage at the counter and interrogating me like I did something wrong. Not to mention I was so embarrassed. My god when did checking out of a hotel become such a negative experience?

What an incredible hotel! The manager was kind and welcoming. He truly cares about his place of work and the people staying at the hotel. Also, it was so clean! I only stayed one night, and I wish I could have stayed longer! I’m looking forward to coming back. I will recommend this hotel to all of my friends and family!

Great location, clean sterile place. You have to pay for public parking though, certainly for guests which is not so harsh as its a downtown hotel

I love the safe, see through gass doors, comfortable bed and coffee. Wash and dry are great. Free wifi foy your computing needs and a great staff that keeps this place cleaner than most other rooms for rent. Oh, and I have a decent view.

I was very disappointed! You couldn't come and go as you wanted. Locked doors 24/7 waiting for someone to come open the door. No coming in late. Parking is on the 5th floor of parking garage. Inconvenient if you have a lot of stuff or heavy bags. And broken car window. Cheap toilet paper. They advertised a full breakfast buffet. But what we were given was the choice of three small snack options. I registered for 4 guests they only allowed 2 per room. No Ice. No open restaurant inside as said. And on one day they said they were short staffed and offered a cold/old bagels or croissant. From the over priced snack shop. No microwave in your room and small warm fridge. Homeless near the area.

Front entry requires a knock at the door or ringing doorbell. No access even with room key. Hotel overall was nice, but this was a no for me with the door.

It was fine. Pretty nice rooms. We got the healthcare provider discount which made it very affordable. I'm not sure what the regular price would be. Parking was not included and pretty expensive and the spots reserved for the hotel were all the way at the top so they weren't even covered.
