Accelerated Urgent Care

For the K Street location. I was seen yesterday afternoon. I made an appointment through the website and completed all pre-registration online which made checking in a very quick process. Front office staff, although not overly friendly was competent to do her job. The Medical assistant was knowledgeable and friendly. The doctor was friendly and very informative. Answered all my questions and offered helpful advice. I prefer this location. I’ve always had good service here and been seen fairly quickly and the doctors have been great.

Prior I was checked and confirmed for an ear infection but just needed medication. I came to this location to be told it’s allergies and was disregarded over my ear pain. I came because I wanted to see if it was a reliable clinic but left disappointed. I understand it’s quick in and out but it’s a place for treatment and I don’t think I was heard as a patient.

The staff and the Doctor were very professional, efficient and kind during my visit and I would attend again if I had health issues and I would recommend anyone else to the Accelerated Urgent care on Kst. Thank you!

The dr, the nurses and the radiologist were very nice and kind. They got me in and out it helps if you have an appointment. Thank you for all you did for me.

Everyone there was nice helpful and treated me with respect. Dr Hurtado was one of the most understanding and caring Drs I've met in my 60 years of life. I highly recommend this urgent care

I got a splinter at around 12: 30 pm. I went online and booked the soonest appointment (2: 48 pm). They treated the splinter, prescribed antibiotics and gave me a tetanus shot. I was there for a little over an hour. Pretty good for a Saturday afternoon in my opinion. Everyone was super nice and attentive. Will definitely be coming back here for any future emergencies.

This place definitely is the slowest urgent care ever we've been sitting here for over 2 hours

I was seen very quickly. When the nurse practitioner examined me, she was thorough and rapid. She made sure there were not any preexisting conditions or medications that would conflict with her treatment. The provider also sent my medication to the pharmacy right away. They are a great Urgent Care!

AUC on Kst. Treated me with compassion and kindness. I give the review -5 stars. The female doc.was attentive & thourall. They were quick considering how
busy they were.

Everyone was very kind and the doctor was.very patient with me and all my questions I do not like going to medi centers but I would use this one again if need be Thank you

Update: 5/16/23

Submitted a letter of dispute with their billing department shortly after the initial review posted below. Still have yet to hear anything back. All I get is "We'll send a follow up". Absolute joke, beyond unprofessional.

Do not use Accelerated Urgent Care!

I took my daughter in for an ear infection. Wait time was as expected for a holiday (Easter) and for the time of day (about 10pm).

We got into a room, doctor looked in her ear, said "yep, it's an ear infection. There is nothing else for me to do" then proceeded to leave the room. (I'm not exaggerating on the verbiage either).

Few days later I get my EOB from my insurance and the doctor decided to add on an injection to my daughters medical records. I called their billing department and I was told I needed to provide a "Letter of Dispute" stating my daughter didn't get a shot while she was in their care. I also got an email from their billing department that my card was going to be charged for the additional amount my insurance didn't cover. Note, the only reason it was more was because of this injection that magically appeared on her record that did not happen. Called the billing department back and they said my card would not be charged while the letter of dispute was being reviewed.

1 week later, my card was charged and I've had no follow up with anyone associated with Accelerated Urgent Care.

I will be filing a fraudulent practice case with my insurance company and disputing the charge with my bank.

My daughter is feeling much better after her second visit to this urgent care so I am very happy for the service

My children were treated here on 10/6 and we had a great experience with the staff. Very professional and made us feel welcome. Thank you for the quick and friendly service.

The Doc who is from Wisconsin is amazing. He is thorough and explains why things are happening. Every time I see this Doc, I have walked away more knowledgeable regarding my medical issues. We need more Doc's like him or I need to move to Wisconsin!

The staff up at the front desk and nurses have also been extremely kind at every visit.

Thought I was gonna be in for a long time but rite away they got me my paperwork staff was super nice I totally recommend

Excellent service, in a timely manner, attentive care and everything was explained well by the provider and professional and attentive service provided by the nurses, technicians and staff

Had to at work at 9am went in at 8 was out and done by 8: 30 the ladies were polite and fast

My teenagers and I got seen at Accelerated Urgent Care on 9/4/2023 around 11: 00 a.m This was our first time being seen at this location during Labor Day Holiday however it was a great experience even when we were told there was only one provider on the site at that time.
This was not our first time here at this location. Each time we been seen here we have been very satisfied with the great customer service, the quality of service of all the staff, and the time management to be seen by a provider. My family and I like to come here because is very convenient to us because of all above mentioned and the operational hours of service. Thank you Accelerated Urgent Care on K St.
