Access Dental, Carmichael CA

If I could give this place a fat 0 I would. They are the WORST dentist office I have ever been to. I had to wait over an hour to be seen, then by the time I got back there to see a dentist, he only saw me for a few minutes. Then they tried to up sell me on a cleaning and talked me into getting gum trays that I didn’t even need. Already switched dentists will never go back to any of there offices. I tried and put the request in to get my dental records still have heard nothing! It has been over 5 months from submitting the request. You can never get in touch with this office. Even when you schedule an appointment, the appointment staff has a hard time getting in touch with them.

I have been to clinics and expensive dentists in the past and this western dental was the best so far! I was so impressed by their personal skills. I got sick after an extraction today, like I have in the past, and they were amazing. They actually cared how I was feeling throughout the whole process.

Super happy with this office ms. Daniella helped me today with my care credit, she helped me make the call to them & also helped me by making a appointment as soon as possible. She had a very nice conversation with me. I am very grateful for people like her! As long as she's in that office I will consider always going there

Terrible location & poor customer service! No answers the phone and when they do answer they hang up. Don’t waste your money

You literally cannot get a hold on anyone in the phone. Then they try to threaten you with not paying a bill but they make it so you cannot reach them. Worst detail clinic in the area. Please take your business elsewhere.

The waiting here is ridiculous. Currently I’ve been waiting over 30 minutes for a polish. My doctor is very aggressive on my teeth unlike any dentist I’ve had in the past. One time here one of the doctors had me wait over an hour just to get started and their compensation was letting me watch Avatar: The Last Airbender on the computer screen. Place is way too busy.

If I can give a 0star, I will, thay always have you to get a deep cleaning, if you want to get a normal cleaning, they won't. Although they said you can get twice cleaning a year, you need to pay almost 400bucks for deep cleaning, when I was home, I cancelled the plan immediately, does anyone have the same experience, in the beginning, everyone is very warm, but when I said I wouldn't want to deep cleaning, they gave me a attitude at once, I will never ever come back again

Never back to them again access dental in Carmicheal ca, they are very bad with the schedule. After they reschedule 2 times my appointment, thrid time schedule me lunch time, and I was late 10 minutes they said doctor busy other patient he can’t see you they said, I try to explain to her she’s doesn't even talk to me, I was customer with them more than 5 years. But no go back again very stupid

It used to be good but these days they scam you. My 70 year old father had a tooth pulled out a month ago and they have already canceled scheduled appointment twice for follow up examination.
Every year the doctor says my father needs to do deep cleaning even though he has been visiting the clinic regularly for cleaning.
They want more money from the insurance that's why they keep adding stuff in your stuff.
Our entire family just moved out of this scammers dental to a new clinic last week.

Doctors are good, front desk is terrible. Canceled my last two appointments due to emergency, which is fine, but told me the day of. Unwilling to accommodate me after the inconvenience. Not coming back,

Terrible customer service to begin with. Be careful because they ALWAYS have hidden fees, that apparently their "corporate office" sends out and is not aware of the actual office billings. They almost never answer their calls and some of the receptionists are straight up rude, and convey wrong information from doctor to us the patient. Will not be returning here again.

Had a lot of dental work to be done. Access Dental did a great job of walking me through the process and getting everything in order. The office in Carmichael is clean, comfotable and attractive. Staff is friendly, helpful and professional. Only irritation is that when you call the office, even for a simple question, usually you get transferred to a voice mail.

The Dentist is always super busy and over booked. The Dental Hygienist is Super nice and through, but this is not my first experience where the front office is a mess and doesn't know their A$$ from a hole in the ground and is super lazy. I need help and was willing to be flexible and she just told me to call back every day until I got my emergency appointment. Or I could wait till August (from May) FYI I did need a actual appointment (I relayed to her) I had been in the ER for facial damage and couldn't eat solid food and needed my teeth and gums checked and as soon as I could open my mouth all the way. She said I'm sorry I'm not allowed you'll have to call back. My 2 stars are for the Awesome Hygienist! She's a sweet heart!

Went for a regular cleaning, I was told to see a specialist. Didn't do a cleaning. I'm 60 years old my teeth aren't good.

Great staff! They don't try to sell you dental work you don't need. I really don't understand how anyone could have had a bad experience here.

I have been going here for more than 20 years. The last year, whenever myself or my husband has an appointment, we have come in only to be told we don't have an appointment or they changed the time without notifying anyone. The staff in back, the hygienist is great, my Doctor Guerra is fantastic and great with high anxiety patients such as myself. It's the front staff unfortunately that are dropping the ball. Every time I come in, I hear them canceling appointments or telling people they don't have anything scheduled with them that day, then your treated like a walk in. I only come back because the dentist are good, the worst part about this place is the waiting. Do not plan to go to work that day. I would not recommend coming here if you don't like playing ring around the Rosie. You may get picked to be seen, you may be sent home because they did not book the appointment into the computer, just the card they hand you. Smh.

Awesome staff especially hygienist Khanh. She's friendly, genuine, and made me felt real comfortable. Oh, and she also did great cleaning my teeth.

Dr prahdna did not listen to my concerns. As I was seated for treatment she immediately gave the impression that she didn't want to listen to any of my concerns. Maybe it was a bad day, but as a professional she lacks experience with knowing how prevent issues instead of creating them. Workplace dysfunction. Lack of purpose. Doesn't take accountability in work. This company needs an audit or it will suffer legal issues.

I saw some poor reviews but also some great ones so I tried them. All the staff acted like I was a huge inconvenience for showing up. I actually asked if it isn't recommended to get annual check-ups anymore because 4 different staff were surprised when I just said annual visit. The dentist seemed like he had somewhere to be. No education or counseling. They also double-booked the hygienist so I didn't get a cleaning. In short they took my X-Rays said my teeth were fine. That was 2 hours. If I wanted my teeth cleaned it would have been another 30 min wait plus the time it took to clean!
