I have been a patient with Dr. Rao since 2018. He has done a root canal with a crown as well as a full implant with bone graft for me. He is very thorough and detailed oriented. The office is clean and we’ll managed. I’ve never had any issues with billing or appointments. It is always a very short wait time for my appointments (10 min or less). One of the best dentists in Chico!

Rude, didn't understand all people pain level is different. Kept trying to say in pain. But nurse kept rolling eyes talking about her new car. Kept saying ypur fine. We gave alot of shots to be numb. But still had pain. Nurse rolled eyes talking about her new car. Meanwhile, having reaction to shots. Rude and uncaring. Sad because read excellent reviews. Nope. Rude, mean people.

He took me as a special case as the only other doctor that did root canals that my insurance paid for, I had a poor experience with. This doctor listened to me.

This place is exceptional. The staff put their heart and soul into the work they do. The quality of dentistry and professionalism has been the reason I continue to return for the procedures I have needed for my teeth. For the past two years, I have gone to Dr. Rao to perform a root canal, place crowns, get a partial denture and install a bridge. The impressions for the denture and bridge have been phenomenal as well the color matching and fit. Dr. Rao and the dental assistants, Amy and Eddie, are sensitive to my level of comfort during procedures and I am always accommodated. They are meticulous in their work and take their time to provide the quality necessary for sustainable repairs.

I am given full disclosure on procedures and am presented with good options in order to choose what is best for me. I appreciate never feeling pressured as I make decisions to that end. Dr. Rao is particularly good with his scope and I have found him to adhere to a code of ethics that I have found wanting in my previous dental experiences.

Having done much research on quotes for my procedures, I can say that this office charges a fair price for the work they do and I am fortunate that the caliber of the work performed meets my criteria for the standard of work I want done. Regarding the front office, Emma has always been responsive, professional and prompt in setting up my appointments. They’ve accommodated me above and beyond. Thank you Ace Dental Care in Chico.
