Ace Hardware, Bakersfield CA

Normally this is a great store. However today was the worst day to come to this store. Three young men working all had bad attitudes. It seemed I was a nuisance for asking a simple question. One young man made a snide remark to his coworker behind my back.

The kind, Young gentleman that assisted me was very helpful. I had forgotten my reading glasses so he read everything for me.

Ordered online and my order was ready about an hour later. I absolutely love the gentleman that work there, they go ABOVE and beyond to help you with whatever you need. I also went there a little while back to get a Toyota Camry microchip key replacement, my only key was in many pieces, I didn't think it was going to be possible to replace without going to Toyota dealership and paying hundreds of dollars. The gentleman that helped me, ended up spending about 2 an half hours helping me, he and I had to do MANY different things to my key, car, locks, trunk, ect. But we both never gave up. We actually had a fun time. Employee NEVER gave up, and stayed positive entire time. Other employees also checked to see if they could be of any help as well the entire time. This is definitely my go to for most of my projects! It doesn't hurt that it's only 1 minute away from my house either!

Most of Ace Hardware is in the Floyd's Stores (from my search) and they were one of the best hardware stores for many years. I was searching for the new magnetic window screens, which they have but only certain sizes. They assemble from the inside of the window. Finally, someone has come up w/a decent window screen.

Smaller than the big two but always a pleasure to visit. They actually have a great selection of tools and home projects supplies or repair parts. Staff always very friendly. My two year old love this place too.:) Highly recommend this please.

My go to for getting stuff done around the house. Staff is awesome and so helpful. Small town service and smile.

Has good things and you dont have to go all the way to lowes or home depot if it something you know they have

Very helpful. A nice gentleman carried our purchase to our car. We also found everything we needed and he gave expert advice on what we needed to connect our gas kitchen range. Thank you. ACE IS THE PLACE for our friendly hardware store.

Customer service rep didn't really l ow what he was taking about in the Bakersfield store. I knew more about the item we were asking about by reading the nearby pamphlet and when I asked questions about what he said that contradicted the pamphlet he could not explain why things were different.

Ace is the place! Theres no where in town of bakersfield that carries my favorite product but this store i am truely thankful they continue to keep products like this i Thank them highly for being kind and greetful when i arrive to purchase i shop no other place for cleaning supplies and hardware
Manager and cashiers are amazing

Neighborhood store with a little bit of almost everything. But, with higher prices then the big box hardware stores.

Couldn’t get any help. One employe pointed where we needed to look he then completely disappeared. The employees were all talking at the front of the store. Will not go back to this store.

Went in for fittings for a dryer and got exactly that and staff assisted. Couldn't of asked for more.

I could not find a product no where else, the littlest store the small store had it, now I can do the honey do

The employees are always helpful, products are reliable. However the Ace Hardware online site claims that they sharpen tools, there are no Bakersfield, CA locations that sharpen tools.
