Ace Hotel reviews
29The vibe, in general, is super relaxed with a very nice easy listening local playlist on the background at the reception/restaurant. Mica could give you great advice in terms of sightseeing or transfers. Anyway, we loved the place and highly recommend it. If you like a little adventure and remote spot, go here as soon as you can. The best sunset of the island. We had an amazing time! Warmly recommended!
He's extremely talented and sweet, and on our anniversary, he even gave us a free late check-out! The hotel was centrally located, had plenty of rooms, and had very comfortable bedding. Our concierge, particularly the one who checked us in, was fantastic. In the halls, everything was neat and quiet. I'm positive we'll be back the next time. This hotel has my highest recommendation!
The receptionist will greet you with a friendly smile. The rooms have been meticulously cleaned, allowing you to relax and enjoy your stay.
I love this hotel. It's a bit on the pricey side buttt it's beautiful and comfortable. They have great service and I always look forward to coming here. There's also a great ramen place across the way:)
The staff is warm and welcoming who made the two of us feel comfortable and relaxed right from the start. The room was beautiful, and the cottage was perfectly located. It would be great for anyone traveling by train, as we had originally intended. Having a key meant we were free to come and go as we pleased through the guest entrance. We returned home refreshed.
An old look to the room, but there were parts of the building very industrial looking. It was a nice stay.
Went to the Ace Hotel theater to watch a band play. Overall experience was terrific. Unique and ornate theater, great seating and view, fair priced concessions. Looking forward to future events there.
Had a GREAT time. Roof Top bar was delightful. Drink and dinner in the restaurant were good and service excellent. The show at the theatre was amazing. Venue SPECTACULAR, so happy this beautiful building has been preserved. We'll definitely be back.
The view from the rooftop bar is great. The pool is just big enough to accommodate a decent sized group without being too large for the space. The drinks we had were good including a spicy margarita.
This place is amazing! Attended an intimate concert for the first time here and I'd love to go again. Plus the rooftop bar is just awesome! Will definitely take pictures to share next time I check it out.
Attended a concert at the United Artist Theater at the Ace. Really cool spot and the show was amazing.
Nice hotel, friendly staff, great location. If you're going to a show at the theater stay here. It is so convenient and we'll worth the money.
The view from the rooftop bar was amazing. The drinks were enjoyable but the view/ambiance is really what you're there for. The bartender was very responsive and the service was good.
Great Valet at this place. Very clean and professional. Plus they know a shuttle company named Karmel that can take you anywhere from the Airport to Santa Monica.
The Ace Hotel in downtown LA is a bare bones hotel. Don't expect much. The rooms were very minimal and I even had to ask for toothpaste. Something that I would expect in a hotel room. I had to ask for it twice before getting any. The area is not nice and the parking situation is horrendous. Expect to spend $$$ on parking. The only good thing about the hotel is the rooftop pool. I would not stay at Ace again.
I went to the theater for a concert. I loved the look of the place. It wasn't too big, so it wasn't that crowded. The bathroom was an adventure and had a lounge and a room of vanity mirrors. Parking is close.
Didn't stay at the hotel, just went to the ACE theater for a concert. Theater was clean, spacious, and had decent walkways for ease of access. Seating was smaller than it appeared in pictures, but it still worked out for a great view of the stage from many viewing points
Man the service in the patio bar is absolutely the worst! These girls are rude and bitchy and act like they are doing you a favor by taking your money. No problem, ladies, you won't have to ever worry about the 5 of us darkening your door again.
Attended a show at the theatre. Seating is a bit tough for a tall guy like me, but overall great venue.
The rooftop is a great place to grab a drink and enjoy the sunset. The pool is a bit small but it's well kept and there are plenty of clean towels for you to use.
