This was my second time staying at the Ace in Palm Springs and it was lovely. It was pretty busy due to the Thanksgiving crowds, but it was still relaxing to hang by the pool, drink cocktails in the lounge, and relax by the outdoor fireplaces.

This hotel is so so so loud. If you go to bed before 2am, this is not the hotel for you. I am so frustrated and upset. This is my first getaway in 11 years and I just want to sleep and I feel like i’m in a nightclub or sleeping in a fraternity house. Ugh this is not okay.

You know the hotel is kind of chic, retro and cool, but I have to say the King's Highway Breakfast we had in the morning was pretty lame. My wife and I went to share what we thought was a small breakfast, but somehow a small, mediocre chocolate croissant, a tiny, cold avocado toast on a single piece of hard toasted bread, and two lukewarm lattes in small cappuccino cups cost $39. No better than McStarbucks, but at least there you don't get the feeling of being fleeced. To add insult to injury, the 12oz water I drank in the room cost $9. One night, $431. Just not sure it was worth it.

We stayed at the Ace Hotel in September. The rooms were decent but they certainly need an upgrade. The front desk seemed overworked and were actually a little dismissive. I get it as COVID is posing staffing challenges.
The bar staff seemed a little inconvenienced when we ordered drinks, our rooms were never cleaned, and my shower was lukewarm. Unfortunately, all this just made for a mediocre experience.
The food at the restaurant was nothing special, but at least our food server was fantastic. The pool could definitely use some new furniture.
Overall, the Ace is ok, but we’ll definitely stay elsewhere next visit.

If you have kids of all ages, this place is perfect. Staff can’t be bothered for a four-star (?) hotel. Furniture is blown out. Two huge events were going on throughout the weekend on the same days. Not what it use to be, but def a great place for kiddos (if they can sleep through the evening noise).

Very cool place to stay! There was a sound in my room-sounded like an exhaust fan, but nothing I could turn off, that was a little annoying. No touchup service from the first to the second night which would have been nice as I wanted fresh towels and an empty waste basket. Everything else was perfect!

I have mixed feelings about my stay. Rooms are definitely 1 star. Very outdated, cracked concrete on the floor, old beds, and furniture, for the money they charge it's just not fair to spend your vacation in such a room.
I definitely liked the location, there are few decent restaurants within walking distance. Salt water at the pool at spa which i enjoyed a lot. Good vibe by the pool. Tasty food at the their restaurant. Friendly service.
Also looks like they hostevents, at one night they had a wedding and some bday party going on, which created a lot of extra noise.
I probably won't be back, unless they remodel their rooms.

Cool room! There best are the patio facing the pool room. Younger crowd, popular location for an older hotel location. ITS WELL KEPT, CLEAN ROOM (definitely a +) lol call it ACE + lol_
* Worst experience: was a security guard who was bugging for me walking my dog late and or being to loud in the room idk (wasn't loud) I think, didn't even have tv or music on so.
* BEST experience: THERE RESTAURANT I <3

The main problem I have with this place is that you think it will actually be a 4 star hotel, but then it is kind of falling apart.however, the staff is so very nice (really make a difference), the spa is fantastic, and the drinks and food are on par with resort quality. Unfortunately the rooms and the furnishings for everything (especially the pool area) are very outdated and over used, giving the pool area a dystopian and depressing vibe and the rooms feeling questionable even though the decor is in the right direction. Without the staff this place would be terrible and I really hope the owners upgrade the aesthetic quality and maintenance in order to reflect the individuals who make this place still feel nice. Would not stay again, would hire the staff.

Disappointing! This hotel used to be one such a cute place to hang out in Palm Springs. It is now dingy and used, seating by the pool is aged and ripped. Our shower handle just fell off upon first try and our heat and AC were virtually unusable, making for extremely uncomfortable nights. Completely the fault of upper management/owners trying to cut corners and not of the staff (who were very agreeable and accommodating). Such a sad place, we won't be back again.

Pool is perfect, drinks are great, beautiful views. The rooms are a little more basic than other Ace locations.

Grabbed drinks on the patio after having dinner at Kings Highway. The Picante Amante was a bite spicer than I was expecting but still tasty. I really enjoyed the Island in the Sun! The atmosphere here is pretty awesome. It was nice to people watch while sipping drinks by the pool.

This hotel definitely has cute/trendy decor and the pool scene was fun. For the price though, this is not anywhere near a 4 star hotel. The entire place feels dirty, our room and the mini fridge had a terrible rotten smell and it just looks like a run down motel. The photos online are filtered nicely to make it look trendy and retro. I also would not have booked this place had I known how many weddings they host (good for them! But SO incredibly loud very late into the evening every single night for the three nights we were here). Not the most relaxing sleep when a wedding is happening outside your front door. Would not stay here again!

Wonderful place, such a lovely atmosphere, great music by the pool, fireplace in the patio, I absolutely love that it is dog friendly! My only wish is that the cow whose skin lies on the floor of the room I was in hadn't been murdered for humans to walk on.

My experience in this hotel is good! Went here 1 year ago for summer vacation. The place looks awesome and has a pool.

Disappointing stay in what I was hoping to be a beautiful Palm Springs resort. Definitely a faded beauty with poor service throughout the stay. The poolside furniture is old and in need of some love and a refurb and the bedroom was tired with ripped bed linen. Won’t be back and will be searching out better alternatives for my next stay in ps.

This place is amazing in so many ways. The hotel is awesome. Pool vibe defines Palm Springs and the restaurant unreal.
