Ace Plumbing, Heating & Air, Sacramento CA

Before I leave a less-than-four star I like to give a company the chance to fix it. I had numerous concerns and contacted the GM Scott. He said he'd talk to the technician. Shortly after the technician, Jessie, showed up at my door angry. We discussed my concerns, some of which were misunderstandings, until he accused me of just wanting work for free. I let him that was not the case, the check was written, and this exchange was completely inappropriate.

I called Scott back and said I understood there were some misunderstandings, but I thought it was inappropriate to send the technician to talk to me when I called him. Scott said they'd gone above and beyond for me and I should just pay, shake hands, and go our separate ways. Wow.

I paid the $915, and my three-star review is now a one-star review. To summerize: Ace is prompt, but Armstrong plumbing was able to complete the inspection I paid Ace $185. (Jessie theroized they have different sized cameras.) I'll never know if the additional work I paid Ace for was necessary. Also, it doesn't appear Ace isn't BBB accredited.

I write reviews all the time and am particular about businesses and services. This place is incredible. Good prices, good employees, good service and great communication. A+

Dude that came out was cool and professional. Got my plumbing going in 30.2nd time and they got my 1 bathroom going again on Christmas Eve. Thank God for Ace.

I had my pipes back up on a Sunday, of course. I was very stressed about emergency plumbing fees. The plumber on call, I wish I remembered his name, was outstanding. He explained how they charged and knew exactly what was wrong just from my description and knew where the clean out was based on my home age and location. Incredible. He came out got to work and fixed it in less than 30 mins and for less than 1/2 the cost I expected.

I am very happy with the service Ace Plumbing, Heating & Air provided for us. They installed two garbage disposals which are working wonderfully, but most importantly, fixed the drainage problem in our guest bathroom sink. I would highly recommend them for any plumbing service.

I was able to schedule a same-day appointment for a backed-up home sewage line. John was professional and thorough. He explained what was wrong and what he was doing to fix it in a way that was easy to understand for a plumbing know-nothing like me. He also provided an estimate for replacing pipes damaged by roots without being pushy about it, which I appreciate.

As a Realtor, I work with handyfolks all the time. I had a great experience with Jeremy with a dead air conditioner. He talks fast, in "airconditioningese" and he talks loud, but he's demonstrably knowledgeable and helpful. Slow him down and ask questions. He has patience and will answer them!

My water heater broke at 2 AM, and was flooding the living room. The water shut off on the water heater was frozen, so I couldn't turn off the water. The manager of my building was unavailable, so I called several 24/7 emergency plumbing companies, and Colin at ACE called me back right away. He was very knowledgeable and patient as he talked me through the process of turning off the water at the main shut off to my condo. The 3 other companies I'd called finally called me back at 7: 30 and 8 AM; if it hadn't been for Colin at ACE, I would have been swimming laps across my living room by then. You can be sure that ACE Plumbing is now on my speed dial!

I’ve got a rental in Elk Grove, Ace installed a garabe despoal in a great time and cost less that there quote. Good job Ace.

The sink in one bedroom was leaky, I tried to tied it, it was broken, the water ran all over the floor. Friends recommended ACE, Dominic and his partner showed up on time, fixed the sink very professional and quickly.they did great job. Thanks Dominic, otherwise the house has no water tonight.

ACE fit me in quickly to help with my emergency and Jeremy even arrived earlier than expected. He explained to me what he was going to do and he got to work. He was able to quickly solve my plumbing problem. Price was very competitive and exactly as explained to me. I am very happy with the service and glad I found them.

We are very thankful for Jeremy. He came out on Labor Day to fix our A/C unit. He is friendly and knowledgeable. He was able to quickly diagnose and solve the problem with our air conditioner.

My plumbing emergency happened on a Sunday, and I'm thankful that Ace was available to give me a hand. I was given a two hour window, from the time of my call, in which they'd arrive. It only took about 40 mins.for them to get to me. It was a tough job. I live in an older house and years of corrosion made for real challenge when it came to releasing a valve that probably should have been replaced years ago. Gerry, the technician, didn't grumble. He was super friendly and approachable. No "mansplaining" from this guy. Just professionalism and courteousy from start to finish. He even helped replace a P-trap for free because my amatuer work had a small leak. Comparitively good price compared to Armstrong (who I also like, but they're not available on Sundays). I think Ace's job was more of a challenge and took longer, but the final cost was about the same.

Excellent service from technician Dennis. He fit me in after hours on a weekend! Clearly knows his profession and communication was great. Let me know exactly when he'd have a chance to look at my A/C unit, and when he was in route. Highly recommend Dennis from ACE plumbing, heating, and air conditioning.

We had a leak in our water main which ACE came out promtly to give us an estimate and they then did the repair work. Lupe E.did an excellent job in answering all of our questions as well as communicating and explaining the process from start to finish. He was very professional, friendly and kept us in the loop at all times.
I also received great customer service by phone from the office staff
I highly recommend ACE.

Had a backed up kitchen sink and a bevy of friends coming for brunch. I had just moved into this house and didn't know who to call. I called several plumbing companies. Ace was the first to return my call. They sent out Jeff Michael who quickly solved my problem in time for the party! Yeah, Jeff. He also suggested a more permanent cure to help avoid problems in the future. I will definitely be calling him back.

I had them come to fix my AC, after the $80 inspection the capacitor needed to be changed. After a quick search I found the capacitor at my local Walmart for $8 ready for pick up, I was charged $203 for the same part. After speaking with the technician he told me that the extra price covered materials and labor. There were no materials needed, the installation was as easy as changing a light bulb, less than 5 min. If I wanted my part installed another day I was going to be charged $185 for the "visit and labor" and $205 for the part. I called the office and the receptionist told me that she was going to verify that I was charged for the right part, she was gonna look on the "books" if I got the right price and part charged for. BOOKS! BOOKS!? It is 2017 and your prices are in books? So I had to wait for them to call me back. I'm not gonna tell you how to run your business but maybe if you get the prices on a computer your prices will be the same throughout and make the expierence a little better and QUICKER for your PAYING CUSTOMERS. So you guys charge twice per installation? How is it justified a 40x price increase? The job was done right but I felt that I was taken advantage of.

Lupe Espinoza, plumber for Ace, was solving an issue at our neighbors' house. Because of good recommendations for Ace Plumbing, we asked him to investigate a toilet that wasn't flushing properly. We found Lupe to be personable and knowledgeable. He was patient in answering questions and addressing the problem. Based on today's experience we would recommend Ace Plumbing.

I WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY EVER AGAIN. THE UNPROFESSIONAL ISM IS OUT OF THIS WORLD. THEY ANSWERED THE PHONE CURSING AND SENDING SARCASM, WHEN I ASKED A SIMPLE QUESTION.

I will take my business elsewhere.they should really learn some manners.
I wish i could give them 0 stars, but since I have to put 1 star in order to post the review, they get 1 star by default.

I had a very bad experience with Ace plumbing.
BUT when I reported to the top management, they took care of and fixed most of it.
I would say it really depends on who you have to deal with.
Tip: avoid a manager named Scott.
