Ace Self Storage San Diego

My girlfriend and I recently moved out of our apartment and needed a place to store a bunch of our stuff. Miramar was a good location since it was close to where we were moving out of and moving into. There are so many storage place to choose from on Miramar but after some research we decided to go to Ace self storage. The price was competitive and it didn't have that major chain feel of the other storage places. They were more personable here and gave us a good feeling that are belongs would be safe and protected. It's not as big as the other storage places but it does feel cleaner here. Their hours very but it works with our schedule. We're not sure how long we will be keeping our items here because we're looking to buy a new house soon

This place is very clean, the staff is so friendly, helpful and just great! Plus they have great prices! Would definitely recommend getting a storage unit here!

Great place for safe and convenient storage. They have trolleys and elevators to help move stuff. Front desk staff was always very helpful

If you are searching for safe secure and affordable storage in San Diego this place is the winner… located directly across the street from Miramar naval air station on Miramar rd. This location has far less of a transient population than any of the other storage facilities I have stored my stuff at. The staff is friendly and treats you with respect which is also a major plus!

Do not rent from this company.my storage locker was broken into last year because people who did not rent in the building were able to access the parking lot, the building, and the floor my unit was on.my locker was locked, but due to Ace's inability to secure our units (thieves were able to climb over the wall of my unit and pass through my items), I lost about $3,000 in outdoor gear.multiple employees confirmed with me that this had been a known problem, however we were not notified that people had been accessing the building after hours without permission until someone reported the first theft.they confirmed that this was an ongoing problem that management was aware of.when i reached out to Ace management, i was told by a desk worker that it's not their problem and that i should have purchased their insurance.she questioned if i had actually secured my unit and if this was my fault, even though she had already admitted that this was an issue.this employee continued to question my story while i filled out the police report.after reaching out to the general manager, i had the same experience.there so many storage places on Miramar, DON'T PICK THIS ONE.security is not their priority and they will not care/help you/resolve damages if their building is accessed without permission.

This is a very nice storage facility with top notch security and elevator access. Staff is friendly and the location is very convenient in-between the 805 and 15 freeway.
