Dr. Khosla gave me my life back. When I was diagnosed with cervical myelopathy last year, my only symptoms were weakness in the arms and legs. Then two months ago I developed acute balance issues (I would sway when upright), heaviness in my head, and pins and needles in my face and arms. I couldn't stand or walk for more than ten minutes and felt relief only when sitting or lying down. I cried, thinking I was going to face a life of disability. Dr. Khosla looked at my MRIs and recommended cervical disc replacement surgery. Despite my fears, I checked into the hospital where he replaced two discs in my neck. Almost immediately upon waking I felt an improvement to my symptoms. It's now the fourth week and I can walk around my neighborhood again and my balance is 90% recovered! Dr. Khosla, his team, and the nurses at the hospital were amazing. I feel lucky to have found Dr. Khosla and highly recommend him if you are seeking a caring, highly-skilled neurosurgeon to help you with your spine issues.

First visit experience was very good. From attentive Front desk to my 1st meeting with Dr Nagasawa assessing my pain and explaining my options. I appreciated his patience with all my questions and his clear answers re my osteoporosis fractures and sciatica pain. He will be my " go to guy" for my spine.

Dr. Nagasawa is a highly skilled surgeon.with a very gentle and empathetic bedside manner. He gave me my quality of life back. I was not sure if surgery was an option for me or what kind of surgery i.e. Cervical fusion vs artificial disc replacement (neck). After speaking with him I stopped overthinking and second guessing. Now I am glad I did!

Dr. Khosla is beyond belief given my experience. He listens, explains, while showing me my MRIs, why my compression fractures likely are not a problem with my breathing, and provides suggestions about what I should do. I wish he were my PCP and my asthma doctor too. I have found a gem of a doctor when the medical industrial complex has almost none and I am lucky I did. I am eternally grateful Dr Khosla agreed to see me. I would recommend him to everyone I know.

I put off back surgery for over a decade, trying everything short of surgery. Finally something slipped and I couldn’t wait any longer. I was falling without warning and I couldn’t stand long enough to brush my teeth. Dr. Nagasawa did an excellent job and after surgery, within a very Short time, all the problems coming from my back were fixed. I immediately could walk better than I had in years. I wish I had not waited so long to have surgery, especially with Dr. Nagasawa.

Today was the first time I've been to this doctor and he showed me a level of competence that I can trust. The way he opened up my mri's on the computer and analyze the x-rays of the of the MRIs and explain it to me give me a much better understanding of what's actually going on. He's the first one to offer this new type of MRI that I'm going to do and I'm thinking we're going to have a good relationship.

Dr. Khosla is the best & kindest neurosurgeon I have ever encountered & I have encountered A LOT of them! From the age of 21, when it took the Drs at Pennsylvania hospital in Philadelphia, an entire week to figure out that I had a severe case of Guillain-Barre Syndrome, I have had 5-6 spinal surgeries. So, lots of neurosurgeons. Dr Khosla is the first surgeon to actually care about me-the patient. I cannot recommend him highly enough!
