ACME House Company Vacation Rentals

We had the best stay. The management staff was amazing and the house was PERFECT. Great layout, great decor, perfect location and awesome and very private backyard. I can't wait to get back to Lena's hideaway! This is a fantastic rental.

We stayed at Movie Colony Sun & Shade in Palm Springs. It was a great house and beautifully decorated. ACME was very responsive to the one issue that came up (pool temperature) and fixed the problem within 30 minutes, so that was great. It was the perfect size for our family and the location was great (I had wondered if being so close to the airport would mean noise, but it didn't). I would definitely rent this house again.

We had a great week overall at the Movie Colony Palms house. It seemed that we were the first new guests using the house since either renovation or change of ownership, so there were a few things not working perfectly - pool/spa, ice maker, gas grill. Acme was super attentive to trying to get them all fixed but being Christmas week that didn't all come together. Assuming those glitches get corrected, we would only suggest another comfortable chair for the living room, to make the seating area more full circle, and some comfortable chairs around the outdoor fire pit so that the outdoor dining chairs don't have to be moved every time. The house is very nicely appointed and equipped. The kitchen could use a few more items to make cooking and dining easier.

This house is amazing and we had morning sun at the pool until 4-5: 00. The hot tub was great, perfect location to walk downtown, close to grocery stores, and Ralph's will deliver groceries to this home. It was a perfect home to share Thanksgiving with my family!

Serendipity

Our stay at this property was outstanding. From the minute we arrived at the property we knew we had chosen well.

The property location in Deepwell Estates was convenient and quiet, punctuated only by the hum of gardeners going about their daily duties. We particularly enjoyed the privacy the garden provided.

Oh and what a garden, beautifully landscaped with spectacular palms and native cacti, drooping bougainvillea, grapefruit and lemon trees. Shady nooks to sit quietly, and the zen space of a beautiful heated pool.and spa.

The house was exquisite and reflected a lovingly crafted ambience, from the decor of the Hollywood themed artworks and coffee table books - to the ornamental touches throughout.

The kitchen was well equipped, stocked perfectly for most chefs needs with ample gadgets. A thoughtful touch was that basic condiments and cleaning supplies, were provided.

A washing machine and dryer are convenient if you are planning to pack lightly.

Both bedrooms and bathrooms are beautifully presented and ample towels and pool towels are provided.

TV's are present in the master bedroom and a small TV room, and the Internet is adequate for most needs.

This truly is a 5 star home, and a delight to spend time away in.

This house, Modern Ranch Heaven, is in an excellent location (and a quiet area) and it is well maintained and very clean. The yard and pool areas are excellent and it's good to have the large garage. Also, the kitchen is very well equipped. The gas fire pit was perfect for cool evenings. A few issues that need attention: 1.the provided flashlight did not work/a safety issue 2.the bed in the master bedroom is not as comfortable as the one in the second bedroom. 3.it would be nice to have a couple boxes of facial tissues. 4.there's no place for groceries/we had to stack things on the top of the washer. 5.the drapes in both bedrooms do not block light at all. Would we stay here again? YES. Items 1-4 are minor. The drapes in the bedroom really need to be upgraded so they block the outdoor lights and sunlight. I'll also add that Acme is awesome. We have rented through them before and we will be in another Acme house in January. They are the best we have found in terms of ensuring that their homes meet set standards and their staff members are professional and efficient. We called them with one problem and their staff member was at the house in under 20 minutes and he fixed the problem quickly. Thank you Acme.
