Action Urgent Care reviews
16Went to Action Urgent Care in Milpitas on NYE with an infection on my back. They helped treat my infection in a timely matter. The whole team was very friendly. They helped comfort me with my infection as I was in a lot of pain. My overall experience was excellent. I would recommend this place.
The staff in the front office We're very helpful telling some things Medicare don't cover. The doctor was great as well. The medical assistants are wonderful on the landess facility. I was very happy with my service.
They require to pay upfront before seeing me, since i had no insurance.a month later, they sent me another charge for 150 dollars, saying my insurance doesn't cover all the bill.doesn't make sense since i don't have insurance. I message them a couple of times and receive no response.
150 dollar bill is definitely an automatic bill to squeeze more money out of you.
Terrible Experience. Came with my Father-in-law due to an infection he was having. First off, they didnot value our insurance and had us pay up-front $225. They did a basic check and we had asked to get the urine culture. They said they have sent it and we were waiting for the results. On follow-up calls they asked us to contact directly with Quest, After multiple back-n forth calls, came to know that nothing was sent anywhere. The medicine that was prescribed never came to CVS and since they dont pick up the phone/or if they do just put on indefinite hold, we had to go back to the clinic to get a printout of the prescription.
A week back they called us to let us know that we have a follow-up visit and when asked if there is extra fee, they mentioned NO. Since my father-in-law was feeling better and since we had a bad experience, we said we do not want to follow-up. They mentioned, there might be a fee for skipping the appointment. No fee for seeing the doctor but fee if we dont want to? We never went back and Luckily didnt get charged a second time.
Have been following up with them to get the information sent to insurance for reimbursement and been on hold forever. Nobody seem to care.
After a pleasant first visit, I was appalled at the bedside manner, including a total lack of patience from one of the doctors, and when I fought hard for dignity, the doctor and manager dismissed every attempt of the need to provide a suitable level of care.
It was a horrible experience. I went there because all other urgent care offices where we usually go close at 7pm. I was feeling a lot of ear pain. They prescribed me antibiotics without looking in the ear. They also told me I was covid positive when I was not. Next day I ran multiple rtpcr to confirm as well as saw another doctor. I would not recommend them at all.
My review was posted two weeks ago but never showed up (thanks, Google). So I am posting again with another account. Worst clinic ever. Outright liars. We went to this urgent care because my son had chest pain, headache, ear pain, and was coughing. After a covid test, a nurse took some measurements and asked a few questions. After about 15 minutes, a doctor came in and told us very rudely that the clinic tests for only one illness, and that because our son was already tested for covid, she will not do any further test on him. Our initial reaction was that she misunderstood the purpose of our visit, and we tried to communicate. But the doctor would not listen and went out of the door. Then the nurse came in and said that the doctor won't do further tests and has sent prescriptions to the pharmacy. We weren't even informed of the name of the prescription, and we were told that we had to stay for another 10 minutes to know the name. Already having spent a lot of time in the clinic, we chose to directly head to the pharmacy. Now the final blow. The pharmacy staff said that it takes less than 15 minutes to receive prescriptions, but we waited for almost an hour, and the prescription never arrived. My best guess is that the doctor did not send any prescription and just wanted to send us away with a bad excuse - anyways, how can she prescribe a medicine without doing any test? Please save yourself some time and do not go to this clinic.
Warm greetings
reasonable wait time to be seen
excellent care team, such as vital signs check, asking questions on symptoms, current drugs used, being careful examined by doctor and diagnosed and drugs described, much more.
The provider was so patient and helpful. Left notes on what I should do to reduce my pain on my heel.
The only thing can be improved should be less waiting time.
Fantastic care. Dr. Anthony got to the root of the problem and treated it within 30 minutes. Staff was beyond friendly even near closing time.
I only want to give you 1 star because for 1.you never have your care provider in the clinic. 2. You never have a plan and tell your patient that the clinic doesnt have correct equipment. Last, telling your patient who is suffering discomfort the last minute when they already waiting there for an hour is really unprofessional. Also, this doesnt happend just one time but twice. Sorry, 3 times is not the charm. We will never come back and we will not suggest anyone to come here until you can correct what your problem is. Why even bother open for "business" when you dont even have anyone to do the "business. "
Health care staff are very attentive and supportive.
Really kind and skilled.
Happy to be there
Worst clinic ever. They scared me off saying heart related issue. They didn't take the proper EKG when I went with chest pain. They didn't diagnose my pain in meaningfull manner. Because these people scared me, I went to ER and ER doctor said that EKG that was taken at action urgent care was poor and shouldn't be used to diagnose. At the end it was identified as bacterial infection in my stomach and getting acid reflux. Doctor is also not able to explain me about what's happening other than scaring me off. I would avoid this in future.
I went in to get stitches and I am really surprised how professional and prompt this office was. They attended me fairly quickly and were caring! Very happy with service and staff!
I went to get a half inch splinter removed. The doctor was methodical and calm. She made me feel right at home with the way she took the splinter out. It was a pain-free experience. The nurses were also very attentive and friendly. Overall, a great experience.
The best UR I have had! Highly recommended for babies especially in this flu season. They accept babies over 3 months old. We called at 4pm to make an appointment at 5 on the same day, got checked in on time, finished all the check ups and visit in about half an hour, and we arrived at home finally at 6 pm. After being waiting for 4 hours in two major hospitals’ UR before, this one beats everywhere, even some specialists’ clinics I have to say.
